My game language

so i have some kind of problem here and i don't know if it's just me ..

my game language won't change .. i already changed the voices but my characters name and my items name won't change they still on Japanese or Korean language can someone please help me im annoyed . thanks

This game has separate settings for text and voice, make sure you change BOTH.

I think the game options / ingame text language is based on whatever language you have set in steam itself, this is the same for the PS4 version, which defaulted to whatever your system language is. changing the text language you need to be in steam settings, but I can't remember where.

Also, you might have to start a fresh game for it to take effect, not sure.

still i tried that but didn't work .. is it possible that my game are japanese version and text language will never change ?

I think I found it

C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE\(some random number)

in the random number directory, is where the game settings and saves are, open the

GameSetting.ini

change the top line to

Language=en

see if that helps

(username should be your username that stores your settings folders for windows)

thanks for your answers , i tried that also but still nothing changed , i got english voices and some english text like ( main menu , Save Load etc .. ) But japanese spells Japanese characters name , Japanese weapons Japanese license .. that's why im annoyed
