no crossplay pc with ps4 or ps5

We are 2 PC friends and 1 console friend who want to play this game together and we can't, that's why these 2 friends don't buy it... until they activate cross-play between PC and Plasytation I won't play anymore

Well just wait for the engine update releasing this year around April, which will enable crossplay between PC and new gen consoles, but the old game or the current one will get removed from the old consoles just so you know. Also it's a free upgrade from old gen to new gen.

Have you seen gameplay with console? You can't compete with PC players. Look up console Hunt, it is funny as hell, you just wait untill the enemy meets with your crosshair then you shoot, you can't aim like you can do with mouse.

There won't be crossplay between PC and Consoles, Crossplay only exists between different consoles. As a console player you can't really compete with PC players and there wouldn't be any benefit to do so.

Sadly there is probably reason why Crytek wanted to add aim assist to controllers, and i belive em gonna make crossplay, and then save money because em not need different servers to consoles and PC....

With better controller and aim assist support good controller players can compete with PC players, just look at other games like Call of duty or Battlefield.

I have played competitively in Fortnite and you can do whatever you want, it's just practice

It's a shame not to be able to play with friends like in The Finals or Fortnite or Call of Duty, either they update or they will be left alone.

No, not really. There are already a ton of games out there that have some decent aim assist etc, but Mouse and Keyboard always reigns supreme above controller players in shooter game genres, and there's a reason for that. You can't make pinpoint precision movements with a controller compared to a mouse. It's just not possible, especially not in higher MMR and it would ultimately end in not having as much fun as you could have when you're dedicated with mouse and keyboard. That has been my experience with shooters over the last 15 years.

Played some on console and as soon as I started playing them on PC it was a difference like night and day. I understand that crossplay is a cool feature for specific gaming genres, like racing games or maybe even loot shooters. But as soon as it get's to a specific degree of being competitive controllers will lose against M&K and that's not fun for controller players in the end.

So for the sake of console players I would love to not having crossplay available, because they would get stomped all day long, sadly but true. Feel free to disagree, but that has been the experience for a lot of players, myself included.
