What is your favorite rifle, and why?

This may be pointless, but I thought it would be pretty cool to have a discussion that revolves around sharing opinions on things other than solos, servers and playstyles.

For me - it's either the Winny Centennial or the Martini-Henry Ironside. You just can't beat the performance for the price of these two guns in my opinion. I've racked up over 140k hunt dollars, but I keep coming back to these two guns religiously. They just feel right to me and for what you get hunt buck wise, I think they are hard to beat.

Also, much love for the new Dum Dum rounds in the Centennial. I used to think the Springfield Dum Dums were the best bleed ammo in the game, but no longer.

I find myself favoring a Winfield (FMJ) or a Vetterlli (FMJ). I like the middle ground. And I find with practice I can use low velocity FMJ to great effect.

I think the rate of fire is what I like about them. I find I can work with that ROF well.

Toxic soloplayers always use shotguns with slugs, cause they know crytek does nothing against abusing selfrevive. Aimbotters almost everything. Since this week you get insane amount of epic headshot skills from new players with winfield to martini henry to nagant pistol. But to the topic vetterli is always a solid choice.

I seem to have pretty good success with the Vetterli Deadeye & High Velocity ammo for medium to long(ish) range and I pair that with the standard Caldwell Conversion along with Dumdum ammo for the closer range fights. Done me pretty good so far.

But yeah the Winny Centennial would probably be my second most used rifle and now that it has Dumdum ammo its even more lethal.

I run two rifles from opposite ends of the spectrum. Sparks for the over the top damage potential at range and great sights, and the winfield for the price and sights. It is truly a mood thing and who im playing with. but latey i have defaulted to the winfield more

[Spatium Ignis Triarius]

Winfield HV - Swift, Regular, C, Bayonet - Levering. Iron repeater etc makes it the best all around weapon for me. Pairs well with nagant as well. Budget friendly.

Otherwise - love the drilling for the versatility of CQ and range. Especially with dumdum.

Would have to be the lebel for me. its just such a satisfying weapon to use with a good iron sight (imo) and you basically dont need to care about reloading allowing you to be consitent at pressure

defo my fav rifle to just pick up and use

but excluding meta weapon choices (i use the lebel cause i like not cause meta) then

shotguns: winfield slate love that shotgun
both carbines are great
as of right now liking the new vetterli semi auto weapon
pistol pax
sniper lebel / mosin (depending of scope)
dule weild caldwell pistol + dumdum

im normaly the type to bring what i feel like but i do have a couple of choices i do like to bring for the fun of it expensive or not pratical or not

I love the lebel as well. Hate the reloading, but it carries lots of rounds ready to go so it's a pretty good trade off.

I do love all 3 of the lebel, krag and mosin actually, and I do run them from time to time. It's just so hard not to click on that Ironside or Centennial. What I get for the money is great. Then again, I guess i'm too frugal - what the hell does 140k hunt do for me lol. I could buy Lebels all day long and never notice it. I guess I'm a creature of habit. I got so used to those two guns that by the time money didn't matter, I was set in my ways.

krag i like but i cant just use it cause of the iron sight for some reason (maybe just not used to it)but is a good rifle regardless

but yea i think all the weapons in this game are just really well designed and satisfying to use

its possible to pick a fav ofc but i think its really hard to pick out a really bad weapon (except maybe mosin or chain pistol fanning)

some can be quite annoying dont get me wrong but i dont think they are bad

Lebel for me. Love the sights, the reload, ammo capacity, talon is fun.
