Blue Screen of Death
Hello!

I'm curious if anyone is or has been having issues lately with Hunt causing blue screens of death? It's the only game on my PC causing it. I've tried updates, uninstalling the game, driver updates/rollbacks and I can't seem to solve it.

Except I can play all the games I have currently without any issues. I can stream too. I've ran benchmarks to test components in my PC and it completed it without a hitch.

something in your pc is going bad and windows and the game does not like it you have to find out what it is!

get hwInfo64 and run a log next time you play. if you crash check to see if anything dropped out or overtemped in the log. Also, remove any overclocks, no matter how stable they have been in the past and see if it still crashes.

Games and programs dont by themselves cause blue screens. Total system crashes {blue screen} are caused by windows or hardware issues.

This 100%

Blue screens are an issue rooted deeper into your PC and Hunt happened to trip it. Could be thermals, drivers, BIOS. bad memory, CPU, GPU, the list goes on. Do you have the BSOD error name that shows up at the bottom of the screen. Can usually narrow it down to what's causing it based on that.

Check the bluescreen code and google what are possible causes, then try to fix it.

Sadly I also got those bluescreens. Did you find a solution?

I have 3K hour in Hunt and I've never had a blue screen of death. However I do experience random crashes to desktop with no reports from time to time. It's sounds like hardware problem. Hope it's fixed.

What are your specs and what games are you playing? It's possibly just your pc overheating. Hunt is very demanding, especially compared to halo infinite and apex legends, which are both much lower spec.

Also getting blue-screened. Doesn't happen a good 80% of the time but sometimes when opening Hunt, EAC has a launch error, and when I hit the option to close it there's a random chance it'll blue-screen my PC.
It hasn't happened on any other intensive game yet, even others with EAC.

For some reason even on all low settings this game heats up my PC like crazy. Worst than most triple AAA games maxed. You could be getting too hot.

Hunt and EAC are still causing BSOD... Happened to me just now... There are much more impactfull games I can easily run without getting issues like that, but only Hunt causes BSOD, crashes and other issues

Why do people only ever complain and fail to provide any meaningful information that could potentially help them? It was mentioned multiple times already. A BSOD is never caused by the game itself. If the game would act up the OS would just terminate it. Only if the OS notices something that went wrong horribly wrong does it trigger a system reboot. Windows provides you with the logging material necessary for troubleshooting, give us that Informationen we might be able to help out.
And no „I can play other more demanding titles“ is no argument. Every game hits differently, others just don’t trip the error. Stop saying uselss stuff and start saying useful stuff
