It's really doubting there was any real thought put into this perk, and it's really showing the poor quality behind the mechanics of it too. Looking real forward to seeing how badly people will be able to glitch in and between objects and places they normally can't get too.
It really is. Completely OP especially with a 50m range.
I guess the only half decent devs left at Crytek have been summoned to the Crysis project. Then the apprentice is running this game.
The amount of times it's come in useful in an actual fight for me? Not once yet. Most of the time all of the npcs near the enemies you are trying to get to are dead.
Berserk seems much more useful in actual practice to me. It allows you to skip any melee weapons and just hit things with your gun to clear PVE. Or you can bring and actual melee weapon with it and just roll over everything with light attack, including other players and bosses. Rampage can save your butt in a tense fight, whether or not you are shooting or meleeing.
With shadow hunter I can sometimes, maybe, teleport noisily to try and flank enemies. Usually there are no good options around, though.
Although, I did have one match earlier where I was teleporting to a clue in Lower Desalle and I appeared basically hugging another hunter who was in the process of collecting that clue. It was a big surprise to both of us and led to a lulzy and rather frantic very close range rifle fight.
Its like the Nitro. Completely useless but fun to use.
"i accually think it's a great addition to the current meta of perks :))))) me and my friend have a blast with it :DDDDDDD. its very fun to play against and we've never seen or heard problems with it and never will XD. this is the best trait for an event ever. the devs really knew what they were doing this event and it shows. it offers very unique gameplay and it totally relivent to the game itself also as ive stated ive never had a problem with it :333333"
xd nice one
My son killed a full health hunter with a strong melee attack to the face from a crossbow.
