Just make it like the Shooting Range, where you can simply run about fighting AI with your team mates but zero progression on anything.
It shouldn't be that hard and would definitely help bring in new players
if it were a separate mode were the items you find can only be used in that mode. its fine.
if it had PVE, more people would play or stay, possibly even spending money on the game if they're enjoying it enough.
not the user's fault that this game is full of sweats and the pvp sucks.
just paly another game then mate
ai simply isn't engaging enough to hold people for long and this is a live servive game that depend on exactly that. Tons of dev time, ressources and redesigns needs to be done for little gain. crytek does have neither of those in abundance and will focus what exists on enhancing the core gameplay loop as they should.
an engaging pve mode won't happen ever and that is good. Trying to cater to every audience possible dillutes the ressources and will end up halfbaked for everyone.
Tryhards trying to silence PvE believers? Nah, PvE is boring as hell, it gets repetitive quite easily and fast and has no real challenge to it. You can one hit kill every grunt and hive, armoreds take two heavy and to light attacks with the knuckle knife, immolators take 4 light hits with the knuckle knife and hellhounds are two tap with any attack and one tap with heavy attacks from any knife.
The only "challenge" would be bosses, but they can all be brought down to 25% hp except the assassin with a sticky bomb (crazy challenging). And the assassin isn't hard to deal with at all, I mean you honestly just light attack his clones and heavy attack the main body ..
And that kind of PvE mode you would want to play for 200h+? I highly doubt it dude. PvE in this game simply sucks, and if they add it in some kind of way you shouldn't be able to progress in the bloodline ranks since the game originally was designed as a PvPvE game. So if you opt out of the PvP part you should not be rewarded with it, simple as that.
No need for progression at all. Just like shooting range have weapons/traits every where that you can pick up.
Just simply call it Training Mode.
The game would be utterly boring once you learn how to deal with AI
But if they did add progression of some variety that was limited to that mode only, I really wouldn't care. As I wouldn't play it, unless like the situationis now for learning a new map. But free roam would suit me for that
Hard lmao are you joking? It's far easier than RotJaw. Literally spam it with chokes and it's game over.
I like the premise of the game... just when most people are 99% more knowledgeable than I ... I can't learn because I'll get killed quickly and run out of $$$$.
When you run out of money you get some of the free hunters.
This is the loop of the game... if they add a pve mode I won't cry but it's not going to be populated. They have looked into it in the past and deemed it not worth the expenses it would create.
You need to play in teams to learn the game. Go to the Hunt discord and find people or get a couple friends to play with you. You really have no chance as a solo with no experience.
they removed it
Don't understand.
One star players should only play against other players of the same rank.
