Auto walk bug

After sprinting for a long amount of time when i let go i continue to walk forward and no input will stop me from walking forward, its not my key board and its not all the time.

is anyone having this issue?

The same thing happens to me since the update was released, I don't know how to fix it

You get the auto walk/sprint bug when you run and at the same time talk in-game (pressing Alt). If you press W and or shift once more the auto walking/running stops.

Yea it's this, I bound my switch ammo type to alt, when I press shift and alt mid way it seems to be interacting with a language feature built into windows, the only way you can avoid it is to cancel the sprint, press Alt and then sprint again

I had this "bug" aswell because I put my vault on Alt and I managed to fix it. It's technically not a Hunt issue, it's a Windows issue.

To fix this you need to do this:

• click on Windows Icon Bottom Left > Type in Advanced Keyboard Settings
  
• click on Input Language Hotkeys > click on Between input languages
  
• click on Change Key Sequence...
  
• set both to "Not Assigned" and press Ok

Dude, did you manage to solve this problem? I've been trying for 2 weeks and I'm about to delete the game. I need help.

its a windows issue, for me Alt changes the firemode of my weapon, alt is bound to a language feature, windows sort of half tabs you out when alt is pressed and waits for the command For example ALT+168 inserts the ¿ symbol, then you either have to alt tab out of the game and back in manually every time it happens, the easiest option is to remove the language shortcut in windows settings.

if yours is happening on a key that isnt alt then i cant help but following the same interaction im guessing its another windows issue.

but yes it fixed for me.

I solved this problem in a different way. First, I changed my modem. Then I removed the Asus gpu tweak 3 program from my computer. Now my problem is completely gone, but when I installed the same program and played the game again yesterday, the problem started again. I don't have this problem after deleting the program.
