While things do look "sleek" and "new", the navigation of the menus takes 2-4 times as long to navigate than before, even for people that get used to newer things. Before you could, for instance, get to recruiting new hunters from the lobby home screen in just 2 button presses. Now you have to click through at least 4 menus before you actually get to either of the recruitment screens.
Germans pride themselves on their efficiency. This menu does not feel like it was designed by a German.
Open a drop down menus, to open a grid menu, to open a side menu.
New UI is actually pretty bad. I'm happy for you that you can enjoy it, but for the majority it doesn't seem enjoyable, not even somewhat good.
It's designed for console players and you can actually feel that a lot. It's not intuitive for PC players at all, it's a hell to navigate between former hunters that you have stored and in order to actually be able to see the loadout of your teammates you need to open a new sub menu where you'll be able to see their loadout. But if they only change a single thing in their loadout you get thrown out of that sub menu and have to do everything again in order to see what your partner brings into the match, same with traits.
It's not feeling nice, you need to work yourself through multiple sub menus to do what you could previously do with 4 clicks. Before the update you had everything nicely organized, now you have a sub menu for every gun size.
Large weapons with several sub menus if it's a rifle, shotgun, with scope or melee and so on.
Medium weapons with several sub menus and the same for small weapons too .. Like yeah cool I can directly only see this kind of guns, but I could also click on "all weapons" and click the filter for whatever the F i want with the same result, so why do they add unnecessary sub menus for this?
This just goes on with other aspects as well. The only good thing with the new UI is that you can favourite your traits and hunter skins and find them faster, but that's it. Everything else is complete garbage. Feel free to disagree with that, but that's the opinion from a lot of people in this forum.
