Blurry Scope Bug

Anyone else continually stuck with blurry scope when aiming in after the update? Can't find a fix for this anywhere, gonna hold off playing until I do.

Yep, I've got that issue, and I've only seen 2 other people mention it in relation to the current update over on the official discord (via searching for 'scope blur'). I put a post in bug reports with a screenshot, but they're getting a million bug reports right now... so I don't like our chances of a fix anytime soon unless a lot more people start showing up with the issue - the biggest issues and the issues occurring to the most people will be priority :\

Even though it's very few I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. Figured I'd get into games and try my best to ignore the awful new menu UI though quite a shame we're unable to use 30% of our weapon arsenal.
Best we can do is pray some genius gets the same problem and figures out a solution for us, man what a terrible launch to a major update.

There was a similar issue a couple of years ago, except this time the blurring is WAY worse. There was a workaround back then to turn a certain graphics option off, but that option is no longer in the game. I even went and found the option still there in the config files, but it was turned off anyway. I tried turning it on for giggles, and sure enough it didn't work.
I tried messing with every graphics option high and low, even messed around a bit in video card drivers to no avail. I think this one's up to Crytek :'(

+1 to awful UI, it's clearly designed with boosting the console community in mind, at the expense of PC players.

Found a fix. Unfortunately it requires re-doing all of your settings in game afterward... It's the classic 'delete your user folder' fix. Basically, find your Hunt directory, (-----Steam\steamapps\common\Hunt Showdown) and delete the 'user' folder within. This also worked for my friend that was having his mouse cursor appear on screen in game constantly if he ever dared to alt+tab out of Hunt. If you're worried about not remembering any settings, I recommend saving a bunch of screenshots you can refer back to to restore your old settings.

yeah that worked for me, but on the ui thing im not gonna lie i like it after getting used to it, i didnt like the old ui, and the ui definetly has problems but i prefer it to the old one in every aspect except creating a loadout, 1 too many clicks for everything there
but it definetly feels better to play imo

Thank you for the fix! Btw if you don't want to remove all your settings / keybindings / favorites / screenshots etc. removing just the `game.cfg` file in the user directory should be enough to fix it (did for me). Doing so only affected my graphics settings.

If the OP ends up back here again, this should be marked as the answer (if still possible).
I spent SO long digging through the -ATTRIBUTES- file to see if I could identify the culprit line(s) in there to no avail (to avoid deleting the whole folder and having to redo settings).

I ended up scrolling through all my settings on stream so I could just refer to the VOD to quickly redo settings. Just deleting the game.cfg file would have saved so much time.

Thanks a lot ! I came back to the game after 4 year of playing and a one year hiatus and I was having this bug that almost made me quit the game again.
Removing the game.cfg totally worked for me.
