DLSS 2.1 and no Nvidia Reflex?

The recent nvidia drivers specifically say hunt has DLSS 3, but it appears to be 2.1. I also can't find reflex anywhere.

I have a 4080 with an i9-14900kf, and the new update I get 70 fps with 30ms response time without dlss at max settings, when prior to the update I was getting 180fps and 6-7ms response time. And I gotta be honest, the game looks about the same. Better lighting indoors, nice water, but overall the same.

DLSS looks like hot blurry garbage, and unless i'm on performance gives me 20ms response time still.

Am I going crazy, are there settings I'm missing? This can't be what they worked on for years.

Join the club. I have a i9-13900k intel, and RTX 4080. With all settings maxed, at 4k, using DLSS quality, I get between 45fps and 70fps. There also appears to be a performance bug where it runs worse, the longer you play. Also try visiting the Grizzly Lodge and see how bad your FPS dips.

Go into your Nvidia control panel and turn on image sharpening for huntgame.exe. FSR, DLSS and the TAA in the game is just horribly blurry. Unfortunately you can't use DLSS swapper to change the DLSS versions either as the game disables DLSS when you do so. Disappointing

Yeah and I tried updating DLSS manually, like you can do with every other game, but this one rejects it(no option in the menu), so that's bad. No Reflex sucks also.

you guys use DLSS? rofl, 13900k, 3080 ti oc - 4k 240hz, im around 145fps - i never use DLSS tho, in ANY game - always looks weird and put unusual high load on GPU

There's no way you play the game at that framterate at 4k on a 3080ti. I have a 4090 and with a mixture and high and very high, dlss on quality, HDR on, I get about 120-150fps.

Its not gunna be perfect on day one! i have a RX 7900 XT i get about the same FPS With an AMD card but its still blurry I turned resolution down to 3200x1800 and it helps but still off! You gotta wait for the patches man!

I dont use it in any game either but my specs are similar to yours 3080 12GB version and the i7-13700k without DLSS I get 60FPS on the same settings as you and as per old Hunt where i got 144. If I enable DLSS I get 90fps.

This trash should have been on Test Servers for weeks and it would have been ironed out by now. Waiting on patches on a Live game on release date is pathetic

DLSS looks like trash right now. It's not just the image quality but there are HORIZONTAL LINES you can see it when you aim at something and aim up and down. It looks like I'm wearing glasses made of cut up plastic bottles.

So. Before the Update I had between 135-180 (game cap) fps when everything maxed out @4k. After the Update I have around 70 fps with DLSS off and 115 with DLSS on...

Seems like CryTek really whats to force people using DLSS for making up their bad optimizing.

The grizzly Lodge is crazy lag fest, went from 120fps to 40fps and I also was the only player left on the server

I have everything on ultra and fps fluctuate between 60-120 depending on where I am on the map. The game and the new map look significantly better, but I doubt that it is intended to have worse performance than cyberpunk 2077 with pathfinding on max settings
