what resolution do you play on and what settings? Lets not forget the graphics fidelity has been increased. 4060 no matter what version is an entry level card , best to run games at desired frame rate at 1920x1080, yet will struggle with very demanding games. If I recall correctly, HUNT- showdown did demand even before this update.
Sorry it was a typo, it's a 2070 obviously.
Now on to me complaining.
At least you don't have an AMD card. Shadows = night time in the Marina trench. In short they have a ton of graphic fixes to the point I expect this event to be a bust.
They pushed an update at the end of the week... number 1 rule in programming, never put out an update on Friday, so they did it on Thursday night.
They took servers down for 2 days, so I doubt they can revert after collecting the issues to work on it behind close doors. And if I recall correctly, this is the flagship of the new engine. So Abandon all hope, or go put down money for a card whose price is escalated due to bitcoin mining.
I enable higher optionsq game after game and didn't get noticeable performance drop for now.
Game looks quite better.
Really loving it, outside of the whole UI.
Lighting is now being forced to Medium instead of having the option for off.
With everything on low in the shooting range, I was getting 156fps, now the best I can get is 139.
Probably lighting because the cause, not DX12. Wondering if this can be changed through a .ini file or not.
