[solved] crash on start

After start, I can see a black screen for about a minute and then the game crashes with following error:
D3D12 Device Removed: A fatar error caused the GPU to crash or hang!

My video card is AMD Radeon RX 5700
[UPD] OS: Windows 10

What I've already tried:
- update the drives
- delete the game and reinstall it from scratch
[upd] - reinstalling directs
[upd] - use “-dx11” param
[upd] - installing to ssd
[upd] - removing the game -> deleting game folder -> reinstalling

Any suggestions?

its common issue, idk how its cause, but its cause as frequently on Nvidia as on AMD

can't start as well. get a black screen with red arrow. after a minute it just closes.

DirectX is another reason for the "GPU Crashed or D3D Device Removed" error. To fix this, you need to force the game to use DirectX 11. Right-click the game shortcut > Properties > at the end of the Object line, type "-dx11" (without quotes). This is to fix the D3D Device Removed crash.

DirectX - еще одна причина ошибки «GPU Crashed или D3D Device Removed». Чтобы исправить это, нужно заставить игру использовать DirectX 11. Щелкните правой кнопкой мыши ярлык игры > Свойства > в конце строки Объект введите «-dx11» (без кавычек). Это исправить сбой D3D Device Removed.

Problem is solved by simply updating my win10 to the latest version

i have followed all the steps as well and cant get hunt to go past startup, I-9 and 4090

Any overclocking? sounds like unstable hardware or maybe you need to update chipset etc

I’m updated by reset my system to factory default settings, and I am not a overclocking, I’ve also reverted back to the previous two Nvidia updates. I’ve tried admin. I’ve tried compatibility. I’ve uninstalled the game reinstalled it verified files. I’ve replaced the 49 and ran it with a 3080 and it ran fine but once the 4090 is back installed it will not run.
