They do not care about Steam, because here they can't do anything about people complaining about the game.
So they do not want to start communication, because of that.
IF YOU DO NOT DISCUSS THE PROBLEM.
THEN THE PROBLEM DOES NOT EXIST.
No communication, no problem answering tough question or discuss cheating, or anything what they do not want to talk about.
On DISCORD, they can easily BAN anyone they do not want.
And this is what is happening on DISCORD.
This is what I think.
The only people I see banned on discord break the rules that are clearly posted for everyone to read...
1. Be Civil and Respectful.
1.1 No Insults, discrimination (xenophobia, sexism, transphobia, homophobia etc.), personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, griefing, trolling, baiting, antagonizing, slander, spreading misinformation, or using terms denoting medical conditions in a derogatory manner.
1.2 Be welcoming to other players. No attacks on their skill level, playstyle and platform. No negativity towards players based on their nationality, ethnicity or region.
1.3 Dark humour, especially self-harm or suicide jokes or memes, is not allowed. Any message that hints or incites people into self-harm or any death wish directed at another member of the community will result in a permanent ban with no possibility of appeal.
2. Keep it in English.
2.1 The only exceptions to this rule are the regional sections and LFG (looking for group) channels.
3. Keep Your Profile Compliant with the Rules.
3.1 This rule applies to your server profile but can extend to your account profile as well.
3.2 Impersonating other users, Discord or Crytek staff is prohibited.
We reserve the right to change your nickname within this server if it violates the rules of our server.
4. Keep Names to Yourself.
4.1 Any form of naming and shaming or witch-hunting is prohibited. This includes tagging users, sharing their socials, or revealing their names in any way, including videos and screenshots. Asking for private messages to share such information is not allowed on the server either.
4.1.1 Names replaced by unreadable characters such as squares are also subject to this rule.
Reporting players for in-game actions can only be done in-game or through customer-support.
Reporting Discord users can only be done by messaging @ModMail (ModMail).
Im guessing you had problems with rule number 1, no?
If you have nothing better to do, you can always read all posts where you get a CLOWN AWARD.
This way, you will learn a lot about rule number 1.
Also...
Stop harassing me, please!
Made up rules to cover problems with the game.
For example cheating.
You can't even talk about cheating!
You can't cover the truth.
Because the truth is immortal!
Funny how their biggest playerbase is here but they refuse to update people here.
Lets face it their not exactly chatterboxes on Discord either, especially when game is taking a dump.
Am I the only one who doesn't receive any unique rewards for twitch drops?
I heard that if a player has an already presented reward, he will receive an item similar to the one being awarded. If there are similar ones, he will receive 5,000 hunt dollars...am I wrong?
It’s just that if everything is so, then at least 2-3 times I didn’t receive ANYTHING (not even a Hunt dollars), but thanks for the sawed-off shotguns and a couple of lebels.
Seriously, 4 hours for nothing?
The problem is that they are trying to silence people for their opinions.
There were multiple voices about BANS on DISCORD, only because people wanted to talk about things that are wrong with the game.
Just look at the AGENT reaction above!
He is angry at me, because I said what I think about this situation.
He is following me only to harassing me for my point of view, and report every single post, even if there is nothing wrong with it.
Fake accusations.
But I must admit, that Crytek start to communicate more often with player base.
It is happening very slowly, and I can see that it does hurt their feelings, that they have to tell the plebs like me about what they are doing with the game.
But I don't mind, because I can see that finally they realized, that they need me, and I'm an important person.
CRYTEK NEEDS PEOPLE LIKE ME, I'M THE FUTURE, THE WIND OF CHANGE!
BECAUSE OF MY OPINIONS, AND PEOPLE WITH SIMILAR OPINIONS, THIS GAME IS CHANGING NOW.
I'M VIP! LOL
You are wrong.
For a long time, they build this game only on player base opinions.
Every single change was made because people were crying on Twitter.
They have no clue how to make this game good, so more people could enjoy it.
Development of this game is a constant database collecting, and experimenting, to see what people will say.
This way the changes are made in hunt.
Sometimes very drastic to see how people react.
I'm with this game from the beginning, and I have seen all.
