if not - do you also listen to mass media? like tv and the similar
Circus event is a clown show, this is a fact. And that theme alone does not fit into the hunt universe. You can't explain that lore wise, it's a stupid idea just to fit a colab celebrity/musician into it. 2023 we got butcher skin (which is awesome) now the clown and cringy pumpkin guys. Yeah. You have a unique product in Hunt which followed some rules in the past: skins have to fit into the universe and have to be kind of unique to the hunt world and be kind of serious. How would the Tarkov community feel if they would add clown event circus event? Tarkov game wants to be hardcore and is hardcore. Hunt is not as hardcore but still niche and appeals to a hardcore die hard fanbase, which kept this game alive for the last years. And now they throw that overboard trying to find some new casual players, who won't even touch it after the first 5 hours after getting obliterated by their clowny MMR System putting them against 400+ hour veterans
The more Crytek tries to appeal to the masses the more this product will fail.
The more Crytek appeal to the masses, the more sales they'll make, and longer the game will be alive. Or how do you expect? 500-1000 hardcore players that stays in the never-changing game with basic skins, 1 map and 10 weapons like it was before 1.0? And on what means servers should run and devs should eat? It's not like their moms paying rent, like you used to.
Or maybe make 10$/mo subscription, then no new skins/events are needed, those 1K hardcore players will be keeping game afloat. I won't (not because of money, but because of boredom).
NB: Circus is definetely fits the universe, travelling circuses were very common that time, by the way. Skins fit the universe and time perfectly. I'd say much more than grannies, prostitutes and actors.
