You know, they can generate a good story with chat GPT for a new Billie Eyelash skin
I don't mind this collaboration, they want to test something out and see how well it's being received (or not). But I do have to give some credits to Post Malone, in the Q&A video on the official Hunt YouTube channel he gave some solid answers that represented most of the community. Though I wouldn't agree with the original statement from Crytek saying that Post Malone is a veteran in this game just because he has over 400 hours of playtime.
The real veterans put in a lot more time and effort in this game, lived through many more buffs, nerfs and changes than Post Malone potentially will ever be able to. But other than that the guy seems to be pretty much spot on with his answers and his mindset.
The one thing that stood out and impressed me was his suggestion of the trait that allows faster reload of one-shot guns like sparks and springfield; not sure if that is his idea or a talking point for the video but I liked it.
As much as I don't like the collaboration, I like the fact they at least tried something different and new and they did a collab with someone who plays the game.
The only complaint I have on this matter is that they should remove his name "Post Malone" from character title, and leave just "King" or "Ringleader". In ads, promo and event - fine by me.
If there is a model of Katy Perry in the apparel of Wierd Sister, or Bieber as the kid, I'm absolutely fine, why just the face should be a problem?
But the minute Crytek start sucking money for new maps and guns, all those halfwit kids with stale jokes about "adding Dua Lipa" will raise deafening scream about monitezation.
If they add mug of Billie Eilish with all due late XIX century style and story, godspeed, have money, and fix ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crashes and MMR.
he likes this game, he plays it, and nowdays he looks like a tier 3 bearded hunter in real life xD
I think in the video he mentioned that fast fingers was his idea since he uses this "trick" when he goes hunting irl.
And I personally never had much interest in Post Malone at all, I'm not a fan of his music or his character or anything, but regarding his answers in the Q&A he seemed like an okay guy. So I don't mind to have a collaboration event with him in the center, especially since it still fits the narrative of this game.
I'm just curious to see if the collab was worth it in the end and if they're considering to do that again with other celebrities or even fictional characters or if the majority of players wishes a different approach in the future. So basically the result of the next poll so to say.
Yes, why shouldn't I? Did you watch the Q&A video and listened to the answers that guy gave? They sounded like answers from someone that actually put some time into the game and knows what he's talking about.
There's no reason not to believe that he plays Hunt!?
It kind of is though compared to what it was before. Hunt is slowly losing its unique personality.
