Cheating in a game like CS with its fast pace must be quite challenging, unless it just locks on.

I can't keep up with it when I try play, way too fast for my coordination. I find myself having to camp an area, otherwise I'm back at the loadout area constantly.

Yeah I barely even play it anymore, they removed my favourite campy maps like assault and militia LOL I loved hostage extraction, it was my game mode of choice. I also run into ragers trying to play casual CS matches too, kinda sad.

Oh yeah buddy, my integrated CPU did NOT like smoke grenades. Pretty sure MOHAA was also the first to introduce the wiggle, I remember everyone pushing positions while wiggling to avoid headshots LOL. My favourite bug was how you could crouch, pull the pin on a grenade, interact with a mounted MG and fire it from the same position, Thus the rocket spam xD

Always loved this weak willed excuse of 'Can't beat them, join them'. Then my all means, go ahead and step in the back of the line like all the other weak willed unskilled wanna-be pros. I mean, its easier than actually learning the game, practicing, learning from your mistakes and ... you know... getting better

Side note, I consider any 3rd party app a cheat in PvP games.

Damn .. this is pretty dumb. I guess you solved the riddle .. no cheaters AT all cause super Dave says he did not see it with a spy glass in this one game.. you coulda spent just as much time looking up all the cheats that are advertised .. or the actual youtube videos of people proving they can cheat and not get punished .. dude you're kinda weird with your whole defense of "I dont see cheater ever" but I guess you own it soooo .. the cheaters that don't wanna get caught are not blatant about it with in your face 500 meter head shots to the whole lobby .. they are doing whats called soft cheats .. they get killed , they will push .. but you can tell when they follow people through walls and objects and are getting head shots with pin point accuracy .. And not sure why the post other then trolling ? you have no skin in the game to defend or dispute so why do you even care ? I've got 8500 hours in the game .. you know whos doing suspect stuff and who is not.

Now with that Said, as I mentioned in another post .. I don't believe "everyone" is cheating .. I think Crytek has messed with things in game since 1896 came out .. I feel like weapon sway is damn near Nonexistent now, Recoil has been nerfed .. and head hit boxes have been enlarged. because the amount of instant head shots has exploded in numbers .. I'm talking instant head clicks when they have hardly had time to even focus on the enemy. 1896 is not the same game Hunt:showdown was .. Plain and simple. It feels like they have dumbed down the game to try and keep casuals and new comers interested we all know the feeling of getting that head shot squish .. and how awesome it feels .. and now everyone and their mom can do it .. people with 26 hr in the game are 6 Star insta head clickers now..

God, I can only wish my shots would actually land as they should... I always aim for the head and its 50/50 if it hits and another 80/20 chance it hits where I was aiming, with 30ping and 120+FPS........

Especially love when people are behind metal cover and only their head shows, and I get that sweet sweet.... hit marker??? What, did I hit the Trump ear shot ?? The Hat Trim, or maybe the loose hair off of Cain's naked rear end ???

Of course, assuming the shot didn't just poof into the void and to this day I still thinks those shots are still flying through the abyss towards Satan's Unholy crack.....

What else is there to comment on in here? Everyone claims cheaters even a guy with just over 40 hours game time is at it.

Edit: I have seen it all now. You need to have an Aimbot to headshot with the knife. 👀

I've never said there are not cheaters in the game, just that in my personal experience it is not completely rampant like it is made out. At least not on US East at 5/6 MMR.

Could it be totally different in other regions? Yes but nobody ever can give any evidence of it. Make up excuses constantly about being banned rather than find a work around or simply use the inbuilt game hide names feature.

I bet near everyone on this forum been wrongfully accused of cheating on their profile. I even got one from a well known clan beginning with Scrum, even though he domed me and I didn't fire a shot.

It's extremely easy to call cheater without replays etc. Relying on a spectator mode that often shows incorrect lagging data or an Nvidia Highlight from your own view

Then the fact that supposedly cheaters know when spectating, turn cheats on/off. Like how do you know for sure that they are cheating then?

Just report and if you are that concerned then make a note of their profile and check back.

Crytek have to be able to prove the person you reported is cheating. They can't just ban them because they get reported. The game would be dead and full of incorrect bans aswell as any legitimate ones.

Sure it would be helpful if you report someone and you get feedback of what became of it. I believe they mentioned that in a Dev Insight recently that they were working on getting it implemented.

Will people be happier if you report someone and receive a notification back stating sorry but no action has been taken as the player was not determined as cheating?

Nope people will still cry and make up more reasons for it not to be their own skill issue.

There are people out there though, that do think this and is why we have alot of cheaters in games today. This mentality is a cancer.
