Fanning and levering

Both of these perks are lame as hell, a re-balance idea i have is. if you want to be a spam god and have a 600 rpm pistol/rifle, cool. you just dont get to ads with it. its always hipfire. theres 0 give and take right now. Hunt used to be built around, you get something you lose something. A lot of perks like this have just gotten better over time and are in need of a balance. theyre prevalent for a reason, theres no counter play

How have Fanning and Levering gotten better over time? They have been the same in function for years.

Both got even nerfed a few years ago, they're way more RNG heavy than before the nerf.

they tightened hipfire in 2.0, then further tightened levering and dual wield. they also arent rng. if you think theyre RNG you dont understand the game that well

Who even uses these anymore tbh. Really rarely seen at high elo, I don't even remember the last time I saw someone use fanning. Both traits are expensive af and you could just play quartermaster and get dedicated weapons that perform even better. Or just play dolch which is fanning/levering but you can actually use it in ads. Simply better. Not even any traits needed at all lol. Fanning and levering only affect weak guns and even with those traits, it still makes them not able to fully compete with the top options.

this is Hunt showdown where you dont need to use top options to come out on top though. Levering and Fanning are very useful and among the best perks in the game for pure pvp purposes. You can negate the weakness of your weapons with levering. you can turn your lever action sniper into a reliable CQC weapon. you can tear apart players with fanning, out damaging and out ranging shotguns, fairly reliably. theres super useful. saying they arent as good as a dolch is hardly an argument.

They are rng. Even if they have a tight spread, ADS will make the bullet go straight, hipfire with or without those traits will have deviation.

I dance to dodge a levering man at 6 meters or a bit more, he has to draw his knife to kill me in a duel because none of his bullets hit me

It's pure random and absolutely not reliable, for close combat Shotgun will be better in any way
If you rely on the levering/fanning random spray, someone with better aim and quick reflex would just put a bullet between your eyes after a couple of random shot

You have better chance to survive a crasy man levering than a shotgun
For all the game I played, I only see it a very few couple of time and I didn't even die every time

I'm a bit more worry when I know a man is running in close quarter with fanning and a chain pistol inside a compound tho

idk when i use it it seems pretty potent. when the 6 stars i fight use it its prety good too. if youre crouched your first shot will always land middle of your reticle. thats for both levering and fanning, you if you engage a shotgunner before hes within roughly 15 meters you'lll beat him most of the time.

Fanning and levering don't negate the weakness. They make bad guns somewhat playable and still not as good as others even with these traits. Like base conversion is straight garbage without fanning. you cant lever in ads and there is no guns that do so, also the dolch costing as much as it does is the balance offset. although i think the dolch is a cowards weapons regardless. thats not the conversation at hand. the problem is levering and fanning have been buffed when they didnt neeed to be, the problem is levering and fanning arent an investment at all. the issue is that levering and fanning make good guns better, and get rid of the drawback of other weapons, such as like a centennial sniper for example, with levering you have a snipe and CQC weapon combined with 0 drawbacks. in fact levering an any rifle is stupid because you take a long range weapon ad make it a 600 rpm close range king.

Im done talking to you after this because youre really not getting it. the dolch is broken, its incredibly powerful. thats cool, i get it. the dolch being strong, does not mean that levering/fanning are not overtuned. im not out here making comparisons about dolch vs levering. im talking about levering in general, being too accurate, for too cheap a price, for no drawback. it does not do anything negative to the guns that can have levering, it only makes them better. which i dont agree should be a thing, i believe that spam weapons or perks should be much more limiting, if you want to shoot fast, you cant do so accurately, thats the opinion ive stated multiple times. im done telling you this, iff you dont get it, its on you bud. have a good day :)

And it should be pure upgrade just like all other traits are lol. You pay a ton for those traits to make these weak ass guns playable. And they still end up worse than any other comparable option. And as stated before get quartermaster and play literally anything like small shotgun or dualies or whatever and it's better than levering or fanning. Also levering and fanning are not accurate, especially fanning is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at 15m, levering like 25m max. if you really had a problem with fast shooting being accurate levering and fanning would be ok in your eyes cuz they are not accurate. Currently it's not enough anyway, rarely seen at decent elo compared to the other options since they are strictly better.
