Hunt: Showdown 1896

Hunt: Showdown 1896

Where is the event?
I've only played 3 or 4 rounds, but the only thing I've seen so far is a trait at the green ammo dump - I mean that's it. Is there anything to collect to get points, or any witch related stuff?

Nope. That is pretty much it.
The event took a backseat to the actual patch this time around.

I think the event shows that Crytek take their players for granted, and comes across as a blatant cash grab with zero in return.

There is not one single reference to a witch in this event. The lobby background shows a building that doesn't exist. They changed a few icons on the map, added a few traits to the ammo dumps, and said "Let's sit back and take their money again" ...

Still no De Salle map. They launched 1896 with a single map, rather than update the game. Then they added AVX2 locking many players out completely. The player base need to hold Crytek to account, and demand better.

That one bro that didnt understand, that we shouldnt really care about that event and rather enjoy the game changes, which are - as a side note - pretty good.

No.
The actual consensus that I have seen is the games changes made with the patch was actually pretty good.
I like Hazmats take on the changes the best.

Nobody said the changes aren't good. That's a different matter though. As an event, it's insulting to the player base.

I see this as an Operation Health. Less event, more QoL changes.
Which is a good thing.

So far i´m enjoying my return to Hunt+
What is gross is that it's a really subpar battle pass compared to previous ones and they didn't lower the cost? Granted I end up with enough BB I never pay a dime for events, but still gross that they think this BP is worth the same as previous ones.
