it was. 10 minutes of infinite HP regen is way too much. and by your logic, you should just not get shot instead of bringing one
lets make stamina shot for hits only, make it cost 25$ cause its only really usefull in a bossfight (so its a cheaper alternative to the stickybomb) or when you get rezzed and somehow have to melee someone. The only usefull part is the sprint because throwing tools do full dmg even without stamina and if they wanted to nerf the pickrate, that would be a good option.
Just to weigh in about this. I play shotguns and Anchor in the boss lair usually OR i play shotbolt and yet when i'd get tagged or something unless they can finish me off it just felt infinite. Sure you can push me BUT you can say that about even if i didn't have the regen. So really this DOES only affect ranged play where you can't finish kills and yes it's a HUGE problem on that level comparatively to someone who doesn't have it.
Also to weigh in on the point you made directly towards me. Yes it was infinite hp by definition. For 10m. Yes you had to wait BUT it's more OTHER PEOPLE'S lack of wanting to push that made this basically infinite NOT my own (as an example). infact the regen shot made pushing almost required.
THAT SAID. If you wanted people to feel inclined to push. The match timer is a great way to do so. 45m? most matches are done in 15-25. They COULD put it to 25. But that is pushing it and id like to see it be 30 or so. Having all the time in the world to wait around is really the problem when it comes to your "just push people don't push" issue. NOT regen as that is an entirely different problem. If someone has a regen shot and you don't at any kind of distance you are just out attritioned EASILY.
Mithridatist makes poison nothing unless you are heavily affected. You can still apply regen while you are poisoned, it just won't start healing till it is over.
Who takes regen and not Vigor?
