Blademancer does in a way add a bit more range where the bow and crossbow are still very effective. It's harder to hit shots at that range, but the target no longer just ignores you because blademancer will pull out the arrow or bolt and kill them.
But if you call blademancer broken, then you have to remove dumdum from springfield and shredder from nitro because it's the same thing. An extra 10% distance where it's basically a one shot because you can't stop the bleeding before it kills you.
It's a weird boost to the bow and crossbow and to throwing daggers, axes, and the spear. As well as the bomb lance harpoon. The first trick is to hit the target. The second trick is to hit them outside of ideal ranges so they actually survive the hit. That makes blademancer the third in a string of tricks to make a fatal kill become an issue.
Having to pull off that many tricks means it might need attention but isn't something that is going to be worked on until the next time blademancer shows up in a future event.
