Lawson Delta in CryEngine 5.11
What exactly did they do that the previous Engine couldn't do?

A visual overhaul, it pretty much looks the same as it has done for years but with a blur to it. I'm not using DLSS or FSR either.

With Update 2.2, Lawson Delta finally returns with a visual overhaul and many gameplay improvements driven by player feedback and facilitated by CryEngine 5.11.

That is mainly it. Also, the update works better in conjunction with modern asset-production-workflow.

The game runs better for me than ever and looks amazing. So to me the update was a great addition.

The visual fidelity all around looks amazing now! The environment has a much more realistic nature feel, the new water physics and look are beyond good looking, and the textures feel a tad more defined and 3 dimensional.

But if you have an older PC with lower specs none of this will be noticed as much.

Time to upgrade kiddo!

My PC is 2 years old mate and I run everything on Very High or Ultra at 1440.

The new engine looks not even close and nice to the Early Access version of Hunt.

they are just testing the closed 5.11 engine on you so that they can then sell it to other developers, the game looks even worse than it was
