update broken on linux?

Used to be able to play. This update though, I crash every time when the loading bar gets to "Checking backend Matchmaking settings". Did something about the anti-cheat changes make the game fundamentally broken on linux now?

Game is working fine, I'm on LinuxMint 22.3, using Proton Experimental, RTX 5060, i-5 11600. Try verifying game files or reinstalling, maybe a different proton version. Good luck.

Game is working fine for me on cachyOS, using Proton-CachyOS
I noticed a different "crycloud Error....." ingame after the first loading screen if i use launchoptions.
maybe remove launch options? good luck

You might just need to verify files to fix a possible anti-cheat issue.
As others have said it's working fine for me.

I did all the normal stuff, verify game files, different versions of proton, nothing worked. turns out I need to delete the shadercache and prefix folder each time before I launch the game. if I delete the hunt folders in shadercache and compatdata then the game will launch. but after I exit, it starts crashing again unless I delete those folders again. strange behavior

Bazzite, 5800X, 3060, Proton Experimental. No issues that ive noticed.

very interesting. wonder whats going on with my machine. its a relatively fresh install like less than a month old. maybe should just try to delete and re-download the whole thing, idk.

Yeah from what i can tell it is an EAC conflict, but i would try a update+reboot combo and if that doesnt work, give it a day or two if there is an wider problem.
