Push!!!
If you're going to run toward the banishment area push them for god sake don't just camp outside for 25 minutes! Especially when the second boss hasn't been banished yet. If you don't want to push either do the second boss or just leave after 10-15 minutes.

Playing as a solo vs trios (my own fault I'm at a huge disadvantage I know) it's so frustrating having a trio outside not pushing between me and the evac. It's boring frankly. Why do so many people do this?! It should be obvious after that amount of time that I'm a solo as i'd peaked with a Pax just to try and get something going.

Different play styles, also nobody likes to lose. So most people always try to fight at their strongest position instead of putting themselves in a unknown disadvantage. It also falls to a persons reflexes as well, not everyone is CoD legends, so they need more time to aim/land a shot.

People camping inside usually have shotguns.
Pushing into a shotgun is usually suicide, especially if one does not have a shotgun himself.

1. No one really knows if you are actually solo.
2. If you shot with a Pax, you are probably having a shotgun as a main.
=Pushing in is the super risky.

Also:
You have to come out eventually.
If you want to speed things up, go out yourself instead of testing the patience of others.

1. I take your point but after 25 minutes? Only one bounty has been picked up and they've only seen me? I understand what you're saying but not after 25 minutes.

2. fair point that's true but when it's obvious (in my opinion) that there's only one player if three of you push together then you've won even if I had a shotgun. I was using a winnie not a shotgun though.

I did in the end. They had two Lebel and one sparks so obviously I was toast.

Playing to each of their own strenghts. Especially since long range actually does take positioning/aiming into account, sitting in a dark corner with a shottie takes really only ears, the ability to point said ears towards sound, and the presure to push the left mouse button down. Repeat as nessary. Point is, its alot harder to assult a building with X amount of entrances than it is to just run through a bazzilion lines of fire.

To be fair, it's best to always assume a full team. It's common tactic to make the opponent overcommit by pretending one is alone/and easy target. The one(s) camping inside is/are there for a reason and playing into the hand of that opponent is at best difficult, at worst glorified suicide.

It should be understandable to avoid unncessary risk.

everyone out here trying to win.. If you want action packed strategy and tactics form team, and use voice comms and push everything, out maneuvre everyone.. if you can.. I think hunt is super fun right now, havent bumped into a suspicious player in over a week, but that is besides the point here.

Most of us have been to a situation where a single bounty was picked for 20+ minutes where there was a full team sitting. Often they simply don't have a reason to pick more unless they want to heroically bail out when other teams clash. Point is, unless they did a whole map body count, they cannot know you are truly solo.

That being said, from their perspective it could look like this - "Why don't they extract or push through us when they wanted the bounty so hard? They can even see our exact position, right?"
Which from both sides boils down to "Why don't you play to my strengths?". You see what I mean? Both sides have "equally good" reason to camp since they don't know you are solo (or if both teams are full).

A lot of my matches are reduced to who gets bored first (usually us; engaging almost immediately) but overall this game fully and utterly rewards camping as you can trap the whole place and have a solid advantage with close range weapons (be it fanning, levering or shotgun). People pushing in would first have to throw 200$ at the general direction of your entrances and only then try to push and maybe not even that if you have concertinas all over the place which I keep meeting more and more lately.

In other words, if you want action, come to terms with not surviving the match and go create it. If you want win ratio, camp. No hard feeling there, just stating the game as it plays for me and my partner(s) (and we very rarely camp anywhere more than 2 minutes).

Well, you were using pax though. Could have at least let them know you had a winnie. Or even let them know you had both. Although winnie then opens up the chance you have levering, which is kinda better than a shotgun, if less scary in a pinch, especially when you have a numbers advantage. Ït doesn´t matter what you had, what matters is what they thought you had.

What I am really trying to say is, I would probably not have pushed in either, since I would not expect a solo to a) be in trios, b) kill the boss in trios, c) to actually try defending the lair instead of running away the moment they banish and trying to kill the team who comes for it by ambushing them somewhere, and finally, d) I have run into very similar set-ups and pushed them only to get wiped by 2 other people actually camping inside with shotguns. Not gonna make the same mistake again.

Thanks for the responses guys. Useful info. I was feeling salty about it but I kinda get it now.
