Is there any real reason to play double pistols?

Besides the obvious stuff like more ammo.. It seems worse in every way..

Is it just for fun?

youve got 4.000 hours and i know many people like u use it.. is it REALLY worth it tho? compared to other weapons?

for many people like me with around 350.000 points (yes my steam playtime is not correct, ive played less) its pretty useless.

i almost never hit more than one or 2 shots lul. sum might say i su.k tho (OF COURSE THEY WRONG, im actually the best player alive atm)

i feel like better players just like it because of the huge amount of amo and because the way you playing if you better, you survive longer so you will hit more.

whatever.. maybe.. one day!! i will pro double pistol and wipe every server.

I used to run cent short with duel pax for close range 10-30m it was pretty effective at that range for killing most targets before they changed it, not sure how it is now though after 1896. Conversions are a good starting point if you wish to try duel wielding they are pretty accurate.

okay so i wasnt even wrong that its a bit shotgun like.. cause i deleted it cause it seemed off.. of course you can also hit from afar, but 10-30m is sooo close..

so again a monsterkiller that is too loud and where a sticky makes more sense

ill try your combo tho! did u ever try double silenced pistol? (at least before the patch, when silenced weapons where still better). at least that makes so much sense to silently kill bosses and monsters. but ever tried it against players? i need to give it a try for sure.

problem is.. im still waiting to get more stars.. and till then im very careful with trying new stuff. i mostly stay with my ~20 standart weapons to rank up (not for the rank or the KD but just because i want to be better and i hate how bad many are at my rank). but yeah.. its time to try more new stuff.. especially because i got so many skins for weapons im almost never using.. :(

My old loadout was sparks+dual conversion pistols (FMJ)

Either way, when you run dual pistols, aim down sight and use low spread pistols.
The best is regular cheap conversion, scottfield (except spitfire), and pax trueshot.

Imo the best is regular conversion because it has tight spread and faster fire rate, remember to aim down sight.

Theres 2 ways to shoot dual pistols, the first is oh shi meaning under 10M, you shoot both shots as quick as possible. The second is anything above 10M you want to shoot your first shot, wait till your hunter readies the hammer on the pistol you just shot, then shoot the second shot. That way gives you the fastest DPS because if you oh shi shoot both shots as soon as possible, your hunter won't shoot until they ready both hammer.

The reason to use dual pistols is because it's really good at 1-27mish (not exact) and while the shotgun wins at under 13M the dual pistol can also perform above it. Just understand that you aren't gonna win any corner fights and act accordingly

just one question.. isnt waiting so long useless? cause other guns are much faster than that? so it still also comes down to only having a lot of amo, doesnt it?

dualies are accurate enough for close range, like 25m or something. So fine in cqc. Assuming using conversions ofc. Most other pistols are straight up garbage when used by dualies. Is it worth using? Lol no, dolch exists and money is worthless.

Waiting? Like waiting for the hunter to ready their hammer then shooting? Maybe the veterlli cyclone can shoot that fast but I can't think of any other gun that can....maybe winfield levering? but remember dual pistols is a 2 slot weapon. Also if you aim down sight with dual conversions, look at the spread. Hovering crosshairs over a hunter and shooting is alot easier (and faster) than aiming down sight.

youve told me to wait.. so pretty much EVERY pistol? especially the (forgot the name) "newer" one with silencer?

sure theres sway, but so its the same for double handeds?

pretty much every pistol solo? at least the "newer" one with silencer?

Naaa it shoots fast, i mean you can go to the shooting range, bring double pistols with you and pick up the pistols at shooting range. Maybe yea dolch might be as fast or slightly faster...bornheim is definitely faster but will take 3 shots to kill and prob has higher spread.

Dual pistols main advantage, other than a 2 tap, is low spread when aiming down sight and not going ADS. Bring dual conversion at the shooting range and shoot at targets 20M out, you'd be surprised at how good it is.

at the end of the day tho.. it seems to be a fun alternative if you know how to use it (and i clearly dont lol)

Try it both ways as well, like double shooting as quick as possible, then shoot and wait like 1/3 a second before shooting next shot, then repeat...you'll start hearing a rhythm
