Game luminosity inconsistent ?
Hi everyone,

I am thoroughly enjoying the game, but I just recently came across an issue. Sometimes, when I look through a scope or a window, the game become extremely lit (in the worst sense possible).

It looks like this : https://imgur.com/a/dxO4Thc
(Sorry for the external link, not sure of the proper way to share a screencap)

Would anyone happen to know how to fix this ?

And, would you also know the best mix of graphic option to optimize visibility and FPS ? Seems like a get really inconsistent fps in this game and I dabbled around the setting with little success (I got RX570 (4gb VRAM) + i5 2500k + 16gb RAM and play with everything closed in the background)

Thanks in advance for your help !

Well I'm experiencing these high luminous moment for something like +1500 hours of Hunt, it's a part of it and it's brought by certain time of day/weather. Except trying to reduce gamma on your screen options, I don't know if there is a proper way to "fix" this

So it's just according to how sunny the hunt is ?

Because it's inconsistent, when I move in front and look out it gets normal again, so I am really wondering if I didn't mess up some settings.

I'll check with a friend and see if he has the same, but couldn't it be the "Aperture" setting ?

I think the game is simulating the effect of light blinding a person who looks at it after being in a dark enclosure for a minute. And the reverse a dark place seeming very dark when entering from a light exterior. This is how eyes work, so they want to mimic it perhaps?

you see, lighting in Hunt isnt that natural. every lighting you see besides the luminosity from fires and lamps are manually designed. so, effects like sun and moon flares and also fog are planed and manually placed.

that window youre seeing has a light "sheet" that makes that effect in which your eyes take some time to adjust to a brighter environment. it should last until you cross to the outside and it should be quick.

what was not planned is that a player would stay in that certain spot, in front of that "sheet". or maybe it was, so you wouldnt be hiding there forever. who knows?!
