Hunt: Showdown 1896
Why not play tarkov?
Why would you rather play this game over tarkov? This game is so riddled with game-breaking bugs it is ridiculous. You can spend a whole game just absolutely slaughtering the lobby just to trade with the last guy. I mean seriously I wipe the ENTIRE lobby and no one wins? Come on.

Everyone just quit and the devs will be forced to clean it up

I once googled "tarkov bunny hopping", and found a video of a dude explaining in depth the bunny hopping mechanics of tarkov. At that moment I decided that I've seen enough BS.

You haven't seen the dolphin dive yet.

dolphin dive was patched within 15 minutes lmao cant do it anymore
After 2200 hours in Tarkov i would rather start this game here - as a new player!

Why?

Well, first 2-3 weeks of every wipe are nice, easy time for good players, easy loot, get hideout maxxed out and trader to max level and your own PMC to level 42 fast ( so everything maxxed ) is possible VERY easy.

But you will at some time have increased amount of hackers in your raids in the following months. As soon as you get good gear and others are geared, you will have them in a lot raids. Imagine being in a closed room in Tarkov, no windows, getting killed by silent spray and pray from somewhere outside and there is NO single chance that anyone could see, hear or attack you. Welcome to Tarkov!

As the wipe progresses you run into the following people;

campers in spawn / exfil area ( basically the exfil of team 1 is the spawn of team 2 ... ).

high traffic or quest area campers. ( they don't quest, they only wait for people to come by ).

hacker that see spawns and players with good gear on their PMC and will go for that.

runners for marked rooms and high value spawns ( blue, green, red keycards, expensive keys ) without any gear except a pistol -> often aimbot users or wallhacker to kill instantly OR avoid others PMC 100% of time to not be seen.

carry services that rush people through their quest using aimbot / wallhack / trigger bot and protect the paying customer ( we often killed such people or atleast the paying guy and if we were more, we even killed the carrier ). you basically check their accounts ( name, level, edition ) and you know instantly if someone carries and someone is getting carried.

glitch user / bug abuser that simply hide in texture or walls or objects everywhere possible and try one-tap you.

Why Tarkov sucks balls and i still played so much time?

if you know how to level, quest and esp. make money fast ( i can easily and legit make 5-10 mill per 2-4 hours ) its easy and you are in the endgame in under 1 month. there is basically nothing to do except stupid level 50+ quests that are boring.

campers, hackers, glitcher everywhere. in the last raid i did this wipe, i did 720 body damage and 600 armor damage on a PMC ( this should kill 2 PMCs atleast! ) and he did not die - instead he gave me 3-4 superfast pistol rounds to the face. aimbot at its best.

servers are ♥♥♥♥♥.

anticheat is non-existent.

performance is utter garbage.

sound / sound design is crap - binaural sucks and overall there is no height level simulation or anything. if you are on 1st floor, you can hear people run etc. on 2nd or 3rd floor. stairs between floor will have NO sound when people traverse between floors. silent steps on stairs. sucks!

range, bullet drop, bullet travel ( speed vs distance ) is not correct and thats annoying.
( 200m distance, bullet with 900 m/s muzzle velocity and you have to pre-aim a LOT to even hits something )

That was from this wipe and its fixed. It was the dolphin dive jump.

What still works and is easy to learn: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u30DrwpAoEc

tarkov takes skill. this is the super smash bros of tarkov. that's why they don't.
Tarkov takes patience/time*

You're talking to a community that spends 45 minutes straight without moving in a field of hay or corn. Skill = Patience and Time, btw... you gain skill from that... ironically sitting still for 45 minutes in a bush screaming at anyone who so much as even turns, and makes noise doing it, doesn't. Super Smash of Tarkov. 63214632146H too complicated for your hands? Bruh, come over to Hunt where it's just one button and one directional input; W to bush, crouch. kek.

All of your trash talking points apply to this poorly managed spaghetti code game too.

Tarkov sucks.

This is in every game... this is literally in Hunt... lol. delusional. the amount of jumping around, strafe jump and what-not is how Hunt's gun fights are designed to be played when you're not bushing it for 40 minutes.

What the hell are you on about mate i can barely make out what you're trying to say.
I managed to translate the part where you're trying to claim playing tarkov is super hardcore and skillful and hunt showdown is a camping simulator but your argument makes no sense whatsoever lol.
Both games can be camped in only in Tarkov there's MUCH more playtime at stake and you can't really fight back if the camper has max gear.
Sitting in a field for 45 minutes is not a viable strategy in any scenario while it might be in Tarkov, bit ironic.

Skill is not just patience and time, do you not have a job, partner or any other forms of hobbies or real life obligations?
You're not a real life sniper, you're a dude playing a videogame seemingly wanting to get compliments for it.
As much as i liked tarkov for what it was the destruction of of the market place, hackers and thermal scopes made me drop the game.

Hunt is somewhat on the more casual side when it comes to managing your economy and the balance is just a whole lot better. You can have somebody with the most high tier kit available being domed by a lvl 1 with a basic winfield.

It just keeps it more fair across the board which i personally find a good thing for pvp games. Let skill decide instead of gear.

Why would I want to play a game where someone can bring an item that makes them invulnerable to my bullets?
Hunt is better

It's all opinion, but that's mine😁
