anyone have up-to-date shotgun pellet spread patterns?
Also any idea which shotguns are more accurate over range with slugs?

1) There isn't. Any type of shot can go anywhere inside the center gap of your cross hair. This is why shotguns are considered an RNG weapon in Hunt. And ADS doesn't change the spread which is why a lot of shotgunners don't ADS.
2) The Romero. It has the tightest grouping which translate to the most accurate over range. But if you are trying to out range anything other than a melee weapon with a shotgun, even if you have slugs, your stupid.

The first point is just plain incorrect. Shotguns are far more accurate than they appear. There is a much smaller circle that the pellets will land in than the crosshair would suggest. This shows the real spread vs the crosshair for every shotgun in the game https://imgur.com/a/IxuWAOV
For this reason you do benefit from going ADS with a shotgun.

The second point is also incorrect. Slugs act like normal bullets, which are perfectly accurate when in ADS. In other words A romero with slugs is just as accurate as a lemat slugs with ADS. The difference is the base damage and damage falloff.

Okay, well there you go. OP question answered. BUT, Mr Op, if your not getting the kills the way this guy says you should. Well, you know who to blame for giving you bad info.

First off you know-it-all fool, he IS in fact correct, shotguns with buckshot are RNG, that does not mean that they can reliable kill at close range. Because no matter the RNG for the bellets, if the aim it on point. When it goes farther away Buckshot IS IN FACT RNG!

And the funny thing is, your own screenshot prove it ROFL. Do you see some symetical perfect pattern on the wall? NO you don't! So STFU!

Wrong, for buckshot there is no benfit for ADS at all, you just waste time! For Slugs basically HAVE TO ADS, it can happen then are in your face and you hit without ADS but slugs basically turn shotgun into different weapons, you do need to ADS, you can not do jump shots ...
