Edit: "6. Keep it within the TOS of Hunt: Showdown, Discord, Sony, Microsoft, Steam’s or GeForce Now. Do not participate in or request things that break the ToS of any of these platforms. This includes but is not limited to: promotion of cheats, buying/selling codes/keys, sharing scams, sharing malware, account sharing/selling. We reserve the right to delete your content if it doesn’t comply with the server rules or ToS."
They also have to obey steam's TOS which does forbid name shaming.
First off, your post was locked due to the way you decided to repeatedly attack the mods of the official discord. Redgardless of your opinion, constanlty berating others for doing what is asked of them is not approriate and will not be accepted on these forums. If you have a problem with them, you can take it up with me or one of the other Community managers in private, but it will not be accepted in the manner you have done in your previous post.
To your next point - we will not give anyone an open platform to out someone or 'name &shame'. This is non-negotiable. All of the platforms that we all use (Steam, discord, reddit, Facebook etc.) all have codes of conduct, and the rules of each official server must be in line with them, in this case discord. They do not allow anything along the lines of witch hunts or anything that can be deemed as intent to harras people. The first rule of the discord server communiy guidelines is the following: Do not organize, participate in, or encourage harassment of others. - so as the ones that run the server, we are obliged to follow/enfoce this rule, which means our server rules and management of the server has to adhere to that.
When it comes to discord matters, you should not be directed to Kayako. In the latest incident with you, you were given the details of the standard name & shame policy, but as you have outlined, your instance of reporting this was discord related and not in-game related. For in-game matters, yes you should go to Kayako as we cannot directly assist with that, but for discord it should always go to us or the moderator directly, and the best way to do this is to message the modmail. This will ensure that the report is dealt with quickly and accordingly and does not require you to use Kayako.
We will be sure to update the rules to be more specific in instances where it is solely related to discord issues, if anything, your feedback has pointed out that this side of things is not clear enough. So we will rectify this as to avoid this situation happening with anyone else.
Now again, I am going to ask that you stop with the attacks on the mods, or anyone else in these forums or discord for that matter. They have no place here, they are not constuctive and will not be accepted going forward. We appreciate all feedback, even if it is negative, but not when it is put across in this manner.

A community driven effort to identify repeat trolls so players can avoid them and moderators can punish them should not be considered naming/shaming. The Hunt community is small enough, and once again, needs a public forum to address extreme toxicity, that goes mostly unchecked. Maybe you are doing your best, but in lots of extreme cases, your best just isn't good enough. So you go right ahead and clarify your rules. Par for the course, nothing changes.
if you want a moderator to punish them then do it via the mod mail which would get a much faster response if it's a discord issue, rather than naming them in a public channel and getting yourself into trouble
That's mischaracterising what this is about.
PART of what this is about is a player who was Impersonating as a BB clan member, and harassing players ingame and in discord, for an entire day. And then I see a post like yours and know that player has actually nailed his desired outcome.
Don't stawman me. I don't want to Flame toxic players. I want the community to be allowed to, in real time, identify toxic players so they can be avoided.
The point is, it shouldn't get you into trouble from naming them. Hunt players should have the right to identify extremely toxic users amongst themselves, and allow other users, especially new players for example, to have an idea of someone they should avoid.
Thank you to all involved.
