Every patch includes 50 new bugs which should not be there in the first place, then they focus on fixing those, while the old ones stay in place. Thats why we have a game that plays like somebody is chopping your screen with axe.
Sluggish, laggy, rubberbanding game with worst collision model ever, with textures that look like somebody pooped their pants..
I don't need to go further.
Interesting! Some valid points there even if I don't agree with everything you wrote.
Never thought about checking with Wireshark.
Would be nice if they could give us some more info on the server status. Have there been any more downgrades done besides tickrate? Perhaps upgrades? When did they change it and why? Agreement with the provider related to bandwidth, routing, hardware, more instances of servers crammed into the hosts. If playerbase is picking up they should be able to scale up accordingly.
It's a tricky question. I understand everything comes down to money. More money means more resources equals a better gaming experience for us users. Should they source it back to on-premise/in house managing. What are the long term plans here? Having everything running in the cloud could be very expensive, but so is managing your own infrastructure/hardware if you count all the costs related to service, support and replacement etc. Locally hosted private/public servers could be a solution here perhaps? That would also mean private lobbys which I've seen been requested a couple of times.
IF they took money from Hunt, let's say by decreasing the costs of their cloud agreement to put into Crysis: Remastered then I would say Im a bit dissapointed at them to be honest. But let's hope that's not the case here.
They are currently looking into the suttering issues with etwtraces and others but as I've come to understand they claim that these stuttering issues are not server sided. (don't quote me on that though, heard Ic3man2k talk about it on his stream)
Try to ask support what tick rate is. I asked them many times before testing it myself. Their answer was plain and simple: "We are not allowed to share that info"
You wonder why? Cause they know it's below multiplayer fps games standards. Sad but true my friend. Even older games from 2000's had better quality servers
Makes sense now! :-D
I dunno .. just me? They used to just run up to me and kick my ass. It seems that the server location registrations are all off.
Yeah I think that's the same issue... they are always behind. So annoying sometimes, when you have to wait until they finally really reach you so you can knock them off
