Hunt: Showdown 1896

red fusees are darker than blue ones at night
Crytek is so smart, they don't even know how pay2win works.

they're brighter because nearly pure white light is emitting wavelengths across the whole light spectrum and is always going to be brighter than any other light that's primarily of a single color, ie red

Now that's an amazingly unrelated comment, well done.

Any flare color can reach any (reasonable) amount of candelas. Giving us paid DLC-only fusees which are inarguably worse than the base ones is simply tier 95 stupidity.

You don't like, you don't buy?

that's actually not true, using a less bright light source in a survival situation where you don't want to reveal your presence can actually be beneficial. if you want to illuminate something while using a light source that is less bright than another it necessarily makes it less likely someone will notice it at a farther distance than they otherwise would have seen the brighter source of light, and red light might also be mistaken as just a regular world fire

I mean this is pretty basic if you just think about it for a few seconds

Can someone explain to him what you use fusees for at night?

No a ton of people use the flares for their intended use.

usually players use them to set hives and armoreds on fire.

The Probability to be killed just because the RED flare might be a bit dimmer than the BLUE is EXTREMELY small.

also there is no Pay2Win ingame ..every item is cosmetic and give you no direct advantage.

I never wrote there is pay2win in this game. I said we now have pay2nerf, which is ... funny? Is that the word which is most acceptable for this ♥♥♥♥ DLC which we got instead of a fix for the favorites bug?

If I was post-meta-ironic I'd understand why it's so hard to fathom what I'm writing, but I'm really not.

The red fusees dont impair your vision at all... wouldn't block a res in any situation.

In summary, red fusees are better for lighting up an area at nighttime and maintaining visibility around the light source, while blue fusees have an additional benefit of practically being a smoke screen as they are so bright at the core.

Red fusees are objectively worse than blue ones with regard to using them to blind enemies. I think that's fine, though - they do look cool. I actually wish they were even more red.

A fuse will never be p2w... It looks cool is all that matters. I have never been killed because someone threw a fuse at my feet. This red color is nice.

If you wanted a discussion or to make a point, next time try using the words that actually explain your point. This reads like a spoiled little troll post.

If the red flares create less light, so what? If you primarily use flares to burn hives and armoreds, you won't notice any difference. They are still pretty bright on night maps regardless.
