Although the game itself is still the gem we love, the struggles before you enter it have already forced two of my friends to stop playing.
UI is the maze and it should be Crytek's priority number one.
I hope later they'll also return fast-check on your teammate's loadout using Esc button during the match. Everything else is good to me.
I hope the update of the updated UI is workable because i doubt there will be any more.
Old UI was bad but we all got used to it.
New UI is better but now we have to learn how to use it - that's why complains are coming.
My bud - he's CoD, bf, cs player, Hunt is new game for him - said that UI is ok. For me its ok too, I got used to using hotkeys and fast navigating.
Pressing Esc while waiting for teammate to connect to your lobby (when you completed your loadout and you wanted to get to the lobby menu) was canceling invite so you had to do it again. Very annoying.
Bad work with hot keys, too much mouse, bad menu for saved loadouts.
You have to admit old UI was just bad. They had it for years and we got used to it but it was not an example of good UI design.
What was good is comparing guns and ammo for them just hovering mouse over one gun while holding active another one. And Esc fast-check as I mentioned above. Everything else is meh.
There was nothing wrong with it, needed a bit of streamlining, that's it.
