Trades are cursed.
I've never traded so often in a shooter game before. How come this netcode is so insanely forgiving? It makes no sense.

Bullets from the hunter who died first used to disappear but then they turned that off, so trades became much more frequent.

It is an intentional function implemented by the Devs. The window gives players the chance to shoot what they see on their screen.

Having bad latency because we use a mobile hotspot, Its a good system and I wish more games had this feature.

You can combat trading if you watch your Nvidia Highlights and learn the timing of what you could have done differently.

Good Luck Mate

Incorrect and also out of date.

The real reason OP, is because rn the ping limit doesn't exist, whether by bug or design, so there's more rampant ping abuse in tandem to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers and generally awful hitreg. That's why trades are increasing with this update.

No game should have 'Trades' as a promoted feature. It should be a silly one off thing to trade with someone, but in Hunt its just about every other game.

The servers have been functioning great for me and my friends. Good low stable ping and good latency for my my hotspot, much better than other games.

Hunt has some of the best functioning servers i have seen and I have played lots of games

I think you might have routing issues. Hitreg is almost perfect. My hits are hits and my misses are misses.

Good Luck and Good Hunting

TRASH GAME
You have to ignore it, or find another game to play.

It makes no sense though? I have clips of me getting hit by dead hunters, way after i shot them and already moved to cover. Its really really bad. Trades are so stupidly frequent.

In no other shooter i had that happen

The only type of trades thag should exist, are the ones where both snipers at a distance roughly shoot at the same time.

It sadly happens by design. Every other shooter invalidates bullets of already dead players. Hunt doesn't cuz people cried hitreg hitreg when they died. So devs changed it that nothing is invalidated anymore and now we got the whole trading nonsense.

Hit-Reg is still a massive issue, right now its 50/50 you hit and 50/50 you hit what you were aiming at. Also, if you hit there is still a chance the shot might just F off into the abyss or trade......... I thought the devs said the new engine was goin to basically make these type of things non-existent, but here we are........

And nothing will be done!

Before the update was released, from what I remember, David Fifield told the community, that they did something with "back end" or whatever it was, honestly I do not care!

What I care about, is that he said it will be better!

But it is even worse now!

So I do not know what he wanted to share with the community, but in my opinion it was a lie.

It is because they use leaseweb servers. Literally servers that are not really meant for gaming. Crytek is cheap and was almost bankrupt. They had to increase trades awhile back due to latency and tick rate problems. The whole game is broken. Its such a cool concept and enviroment but it is so broken and full of cheats that it really provides more frustration than entertainment.

Most calls of bad hitreg is people missing... More people need to record when "hitreg moments" happen and watch it frame by frame
