Hunt 1896 is like OW2 but they actually removed content.

What we lost:
- Lost 3 maps (Its supposed to be temporary but I can guarantee it will take long for them to add them back considering all the problems)
- Lost my beloved Gator Boss (I think I'm alone on this one though)
- Lost frames and optimisation for that took them 4+ Years to achieve with old engine.
- Lost ability to open map without the risk of crashing.
- Lost ability to use charms on more than 1 gun and non-matching Skins on dualies.
- Lost ability to Sort & Filter to be saved on closing the shop/inventory.
- Lost trials
- Lost cool lore in books (thankfully I managed to fully complete them before the update)
- Lost Black Market (Honestly Idc about that one but still removed)

What we got:
- New map that's actually cool, but by the time other maps come back we will be tired of it and probably hate it...
- Bullet drop???? Not sure if I'm getting gaslit on this one ong.
- New UI... that looks very cool... oh wait I just accidentally bought a 300 BB Skin that I find ugly and now my kids wont be able to eat food for a day since I needed thoses BB for the battlepass and need to buy more from the store but the minimum is not enough they force me to buy the 50$ package to have enough and then Im stuck with 400 Remaining that I dont plan to use for the foreseable future.

Not all is lost - they added gambling (in form of opening the map after the banish "Should I open the map? Will it crash again? Let's gamble!"

- Trials were used by "PERSON I CANNOT NAME" for naughty things (making maps, showing exploits etc...)
- Who needs "Sort and Filter options"! We have a new UI, you gotta to see it a lot!
BUT they added this:
- New very hidden and "secret" option to revive as solo infinite times!

i did the Trials (all STARS.. not just enough to get the rewards) before any nerf (before guys were doing it with shadow), yes i am here to tell the tale it was a NIGHTMARE and now everbody just gets them, its ok but.. "sometimes its like that in life with skins i had them long enough" i will get shiny new rewards with the Prestige Rework...
I am P100 anyway so you STOLE my rewards which i earned and gave them to me as a NEW Reward ... thanks haha its so funny seriously i love this game so much yet it keeps on kicking me in the balls

I hate the menu UI, there is so much going on my screen. It was perfectly fine before, all neatly tucked away in the top tabs if you so choose to open them. Now I feel like i'm trying to browse netflix. WAYYYY too much going on the screen.

yes, if you had Shadow on your selected Hunter it used the perk in the Trials ... and they didnt fix it for WEEKS or maybe a month, was really nice to see how everybody got it with shadow... all those celebration reddit posts hehe

already felt kinda betrayed because of that, little did i know that they would gift them to me as NEW Rewards, anyway looking at the current state of the game, lets hope we wont lose it...

when i did the trials they forced me to be a generic hunter with a prebuild set of weapons and perks for that trial. i had to do it the hard way.

Other than like 1-2 they were an actual fun challenge ngl.
None of them got me stuck more than 30 mins but still make me sweat a bit. Perfect balance imo.
But I am a 6* with hard games as a favourites so my opinion doesn't apply to all.

They also in the past year removed generators.
Free roam (not just the trials themselves) is gone.
They removed the electric lamp (look how bad fps console users get with flares).
The new map lacks morning, fog, and rain variants. It is just afternoon, evening, or night. Also no special variant like inferno or serpent moon for this event, the first one in over half a year.
Most statistics and the ability to see your own team's loadouts are gone.
More and more ways to earn bloodbonds are gone.

The only complaint I have is that some of the good T2 and T3 hunter skins got added to prestige rewards, instead of making new ones and giving us the original cast as bloodline unlocks.

Also, if you can't afford to feed your family after buying a 300 blood bond skin, you shouldn't have children to begin with.

I got 60 stars then simply gave up as they were way too hard due to being mostly dependent on how things spawned.

Did them all the hard way and that stars have been something to show off. Which I haven't done until today. Now I should Prestige for this? Never ever. almost 7 k hours and I'll stay on P12. Couldn't be bothered to have high numbers to jerk off on.

To each their own, but gamer who love to compare by prestige are even more cringe than the ones who think KD(A) means anything. Especially in a game in which u can cheese ur KD not by skill but by coward boring game style. In fact the common hunt for high KD forces the majority of those who hunt it into boring cowardly game styles.

and if u remake maps u need to remake trials too. or save them seperately. but then ppl will cry that game is 200gb in size
