While people now argue about the "anytime soon" aspect keep in mind that this is still a business that needs to make profits. And since other games (for example Fortnite) is able to attract a lot of money through skins via cooperations it's just natural that other companies join in on this. If you don't like these skins then don't buy them, but what's the problem if other people can enjoy skins that you dislike?
I mean if I happen to go into a fight against a fairy skin it literally makes no difference. I, as well as many others, play the game for the fights you can have. I don't care if I kill a mountain lion skin, wolf skin or some dude that runs around in a fairy costume. I'm going to hunt them all the same which is part of the game. Cosmetics hardly matter there.
And for the argument that a lot of people bring "this isn't what we paid for" .. well okay we delete the third and fourth map, get rid of scrapbeak and the assassin as well as lot of guns because they weren't in the game either .. you didn't pay for these changes either. So all you do is complain about things you dislike personally when in reality, by your logic, a lot of things should get removed as well even though you seem to like them.
My whole point I'm trying to make here now is: Just because you dislike it doesn't mean everyone feels the same. The game needs to develop further and not be stale. At some point you want new players, younger generations than the old farts playing this game. The game needs to be attractive to those. So even though I wouldn't run around in an anime skin myself, I do understand that other people maybe want to use these kind of skins and that's fine for me.
You're several years too late though... the REAL LAUGHABLE THING IS... ya'll are mad about ghostface... but no one gave a sh*t about Redshirt, Skinflint, Coal Bearer, or any of the other less lore friendly skins like Perchta, Mountie, etc.
Ghostface is just the only one that is an OFFICIAL tie in... and that's the only difference with this skin...
This doesn't mean sh*t because the facts of the matter are this: Ghostface was incorporated into the world of hunt better than most other tie ins because Crytek KNOWS what their game is.
No, why should I be? Just because I have a different opinion and for being able to look at it from a business perspective?
Are you a troll?
Modern consumers like this poster and several here in this thread are just starkly unintelligent. Like this guy here, would probably struggle on any standard Western IQ test to meet even median levels, and I know that Ukrainian/Russian education is absolutely abysmal but still
What’s crazy is they have been psychologically programmed to defend corporatism, to the point that reality is not reality until it’s completely tangible—there is little to no protective strategy or forethought involved. Then inevitably even if a spooky version of Homelander were running around, they would be saying “WELL GOKU ISN’T IN!” Magic the Gathering is a great example of this, the franchise has been completely and totally destroyed
They make incomprehensible arguments like “YOU DON’T HAVE TO BUY IT!” Well, you have to see it, and that’s enough. This reminds me of boomers regurgitating crap they hear on CNN on Facebook but insane to me that it’s also endemic to the young population
The psychological situation is absolutely crazy. We literally live in a corporate Matrix and most of the population at this point are just blissfully jacked into their programming
to defend the corpos and do it for free lol
Yup. And im tired of fighting against it with reason. So, since Hunt is dying anyway, I cant even play the game with my friends anymore since their game literally doesnt start, when I feel like it I will spin up hunt and join random teams until someone has the ghostface skin and teamkill him. That is everything that I am going to do in hunt from now on. Im curious how long till I get banned, but ... not like it matters
This is the new reality, hunt is hip, hunt is trans, hunt is woke,
hunt is a hipster game for the new generation z
and the devs follow the trend, because its all about the money
It has absolutely nothing to do anymore with his original game concept
...on the Point.
Back in the Day overkill said also they would "strictly watch" that skins fit into the game and lore... and boy went it south quicky with the skins and characters. In fact, thats is the main reason I gave up on the game.
Constant dropping wears away a stone,
That way those who like the grittier immersion of the world (like me) can just turn off custom skins on our end. And people who like custom skins, can enjoy that on their end.
Crytek can sell all the skins they want then and nobody would (maybe) care?
people dont play dress up to look at themselves, people play dress up for others to look at them.
(sales go down)
