this doesnt actually work
the only option is to kill the game and then rejoin and hope you're alive
so it's impossible to even play the new mode because it takes another 5 minutes to rejoin the ♥♥♥♥ servers even with a high quality ssd

Your USB will thank you for unplugging / plugging mouse each time you alt+tab to the desktop!

Worked for me! De-/Activate a wireless mouse. Windows will re-register the USB again and then just stop tabbing out :-D

Yeah it is a working quick fix. The devs have to fix the game anyways. It's only a few months with the bug until now. :-)
