A strange list which pulls in different ways, quiet things quieter, loud things easier to track.
Is any kind of player sense disappearing? You're either the invisible man or you the predator from the movie.
Interesting combo of pacts to put in the game environment Hunt is set it.
Quite a lot of them feel like they're cranked to 110% unnecessarily.
I'm sure some players will love them.
i never picked poison sense so i don't mind a buff but now on paper it seems like it's gonna be over the top, i will test this however and make a firm opinion
It's quite simple, they used to develop a Game with Name "Hunt : Showdown" (= Extraction shooter, Niche genre, nothing for the wide Masse/no "big" Money) for Players, with Love and Dedication.
With "Hunt: Showdown 1896" they start, to "develop" a Game for the Arcade-Mainstream (= more Player/more Money), without Love and Dedication, only with their Eyes on hopefully making the big Money...
Blast Sense: Reveal gunfire and explosions in dark sight.
I don't like more and more traits, which will help player to locate other players.. you should be able to find & hunt down players by hearing, seeing and expierience. Hunt was once a "hardcore" shooter. Nowadays there is no hardcore.. only casual extraction shooter with all these mechanics
solution: get rid of the trait!
Pain Sense: Reveal poisoned, bleeding and burning enemies in dark sight.

Gunrunner: Equip two 3-slot weapons
we had 2 3-slot weapons back in the days. Actually i like the idea of 2 big rifles, because that isnt even a big problem in real life. BUT.. as you mentioned.. there should be a drawback by movement speed decrease. -10-20% should be ok. If hunt would have some "weight system" you could even block consumables if you decide to bring two big guns.
side note: i am ready for sparks/martini and long range winfield with fmj and levering.. will be same hell as back in the days.
solution: implement weight system into hunt or decrease movement speed
Greyhound: Additional effect faster running speed when carrying a bounty.
not a fan.. we don't need FASTER gameplay.. we need original gameplay.. slow, intelligent, always beware of your next step..
solution: for event ok, but besides.. keep it where the sun doesnt shine.
Surefoot: Increased crouch speed.

Beastface (with wilderness pact): You don't trigger animal sound traps.
i like the idea and this is what beastface should be about. maybe higher the trait costs and make it actually "normal" that you dont trigger anything.
Lightfoot: Silent crouching for solos.
♥♥♥♥ NO... This game is based on good sound development and gameplay. If you have good headphones you can shoot people even without seeing them. Give solos an "ninja"-advantage in a "western"-setting and without ANY noise.. just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Sounds a bit like in Insurgency Sandstorm, which has a general point system for everything.
You want a hard hitting primary gun with lots of modifications? No problem, here you go. There's not enough points for a side arm, grenades and armor left though.
Like every hunter can equip 10 points.
Rifle X costs 3 points, rifle Y costs 4 points...
Revolver X costs 2 points, revolver Y costs 3 points...
Medikit costs 1 point.
Knife costs 1 point, Throwing Axe costs 2 points, Spear costs 4 points...
And so on, you get the idea. It would help with the balancing too. A rifle feels good to use but is a bit too strong? Just increase the point cost so you can't bring a lot more besides it.
