Crosshair X is pure cheat

I can't believe there is an alternate aim in this game. How come the devs don't consider this as cheating? With a crosshair on your hud, it makes the whole game easier! This game is destined for bankruptcy.

2001 wants its talking point back. FYI you can just put a piece of tape over the center of the screen and use a sharpie to draw a tiny little dot on it. Most "gaming"monitors have built in cross hairs, microsoft gamebar has a crosshair overlay, there are hundreds of other overlays available here on steam or other places too.

While technically "cheating" this is basically unenforceable. There are far more important issues to spend your angry brain space on other than some dude knowing where his video game gun is pointing.

Yeah, it's kinda bs, it's a 3rd party software that tampers with the game to give an advantage, especially since with a lot of software you can make crosshairs to account for drop or lead times.

It Is not bannable because you can simply draw a cursor on your monitor and it will be the same as using a 3d party cursor software so...

1) Unless I missed something, it gives no advantage apart from "knowing" where the center of your screen is.
2) Its 2024. Many monitors have crosshairs with variants build in and since there is the option to center your crosshair in Hunt now - there are even more compatible monitors for hunt. (I know there are monitors where you cannot adjust the crosshair position)
3) As far as I know, its allowed by Crytek / EAC. So how can anything allowed beeing a cheat? Is dark-sight a cheat was well?

Is it a minor advantage? propably.
But a "pure cheat"? Thats ridicilous.
Everybody who plays shooters regulary knows where the center of the screen is.

you can aim while moving and then press fast scop on two keys at the same time, this is how most streamers play to have an advantage

There are none.

If you can't afford a 5$ program then just use a dry erase marker on your screen, it literally does the same thing lmao.
