I think there's a lot of people that believe high ping = ping abuse, which isn't true. You have to actively abuse having high ping to be able to gain the advantage. Playing aggressive and peeking first is an example of that. If you sit in a dark corner aiming at a door with 200 ping you're definitely not ping abusing. No wonder people think it's not real.

As someone in Oceania, I see where those wanting a low ping limit are coming from but losing US West would be the death of the game here. Welcome to gaming in Oceania! It's a *tiny* community here - limit the game to Oceania and you can pretty reliably be alone on the map around 50% of the time during the day. It only really picks up late at night and even then you're going to be playing the same people every other map, usually. It's grim!
I'm just gonna have to wait and see what happens, I guess. But I've put 2000 hours into this game and to suddenly not be able to play would be a real shame.

What's your ping to US West? I can't imagine Crytek lowering the limit below 200ping tbh. It was 225 before that and it was basically meaningless.

Good, you are not supposed to play on EU servers if you are not from Europe. They are just making more strict limits, which is IMO bad. They should literally lock from you any region that has ping bigger than 50-60ms for you.

I'm in NZ, which is probably why the servers are even deader usually (time difference). I think around 170-80 for us sadly.

Hey, who knows - fingers crossed this update is a banger (definitely looking very nice) and it brings in a whole lot of players. I'm afraid Hunt will always be a niche game though. Which is fine with me! It's a lot less toxic than most other shooters in my experience. But it's just never going to have a massive player base.

170-800 is too high, to be honest. It does go as low as 150ish, just the spikes can be a bit higher up to that 180 mark.

No one likes to play against high pingers, especially when they do it by choice.
Frankly europe server is better off without people like you. Ping limit comes way too late but at least it comes.

Opinions are different from one another. Well you might not like it , some do who has friends spread over the globe , who has decent pings to Europe . This is why i say 3 stars are pretty chill people overall. Will see whats the ping limit in the update.
