I have only 1 other friend who enjoys Hunt. Duos for us is AWFUL due to the sweatlords in 4-5 stars and we’re simply not good enough. Trios is infinitely more fun. PLEASE Crytek, at least test duo teams queueing for trios!!

I’ve been playing Hunt addictively all over again for the past few weeks, but my friend hasn’t played in a couple months. We’re both EXTREMELY excited for the "2.0" update, so we decided to play together again before the update to get one last taste of “old Hunt”.

Oh, yeah. Duos only. We forgot.

Well, it’s fine, I’ve been playing a while and warmed up so I know what we’re getting into.

Smash cut to: head shot deaths across 50+ meters with nary a hint of a sound; teams refusing to push (or leave) compounds—some even concertina trapping their OWN exits; duos doing 100m diameter flanks with Dolch dum dum and FMJ Nagants

The list goes on and on, it felt like I was playing a different game.

I understand this IS a sweatlord, audio-focused game at its core. That’s a big reason why I’ve put 600 hours into it. But the pressure of 6 2-man teams instead of 4 3-man teams is night and day, it can’t even be compared.

I’m begging Crytek to at least consider the option, test it out just like they’re doing with bullet drop, a MUCH bigger change to the game. We’ve reserved ourselves to playing separately together rather than suffer Duos again come August 15th.

Couldn't you always queue duos into trios? I'm not sure what you are asking.

They talked about adding QoL option to play duos + random for trios vs trios, also you can always try duos vs trios, its better than duos vs duos imo.

edit: not sure tho if it comes in the 15th, maybe its not a priority for the relaunch

It gets better after 1k hours but stress is the same as first day. All my friends quit it the first day as well.
