is there a real PvE mode without PvP?

Best advice, grab your friends and just suck it up and learn the PvP game as a trio, it'll be way easier than trying to learn it solo.

It's a steepish initial learning curve depending on what experience you've had with shooters, and Hunt is different.

Give the full game a go, it is not a PvE only game. You'll just be wasting your dollar.

This is definitely NOT a pve game. The monsters are just there to spice things up, pvp is at the core of the game. If you don't want to play pvp, I suggest you find an actual coop game like Darktide, Deep Rock Galactic or Helldivers; you won't enjoy this one. People will hunt you even if you try to kill monsters away from the objective (which won't be very fun on its own, the monsters aren't a threat at all when you're not already in a fight with other players)

Lots of people would enjoy this kind of game mode but honestly they would have to rework the game from scratch to make it an actual pve coop.

I wish you could, It would be a good quality of life for new players to go up against bot hunters with their friends, instead of just getting thrown into the PVP right off the rip after the tutorial. I also wish they would add a bit more to the PVE side of things, Maybe they will at some point for now this is what we have!

I wouldn't mind the inclusion of a solely PvE experience. It would be fun bit I don't think the devs and most people would be interested in it, sadly.

It isn't stupid. It is a valid thing some people want. Don't diminish it's dedication just because you don't like the idea.

Blood West is a good single player game, reminds me of what Hunt could have been had they made a story mode.

Why would you suggest a single player game when they're asking for a game to play coop with friends...

The monster variety and the limited A.I. simply is not enough to keep the game interesting for long. The other hunters that are giving the game's real fear factor or the desire to comeback and hunt something more challenging - other hunters.
