Crashing when hitting Tab for map

With this new up date myself and a friend has had the game crash several times now when hitting tab to view the map. Anyone else? Any fixes? I couldn't find anything in the forums here or when goggling it.

just made a post about this. They need to fix this game breaking bug. Win+D doesnt close this game. Be sure to use Alt+F4

this bug seems to be specifically tied to opening your map when a team triggers a banish, or shortly after they banish.

Jep, been complaining about this since the beginning of this update. Everyone cries about the UI... this is here is the real problem. Lost 6 Hunters to that bug!

it isn't steam overlay as this bug was introduced after the game was updated.

It even happened during one of their streams 8 DAYS AGO. They mentioned that changing map from hold to toggle (or the other way) might prevent game from freezing.
Well I can confirm that it doesnt work. At least not for everyone.
No matter what my friends set, both of them sometimes crash during banish (no metter who started it), they crashed today twice in 4 hours of playing.
For me, hold option is working (at least for now), meanwhille toggle causes crash every time.
On the other hand, reconect works perfectly for all of us.

setting your map to hold instead of toggle helps a little but you can still get the crash. I just use dark sight to navigate after the first 1-2min of the match. seems to be the safest option for me

Steam Overlay has caused issues in the past for various users with Hunt only. Once where if Steam Overlay was enabled FPS was severely impacted and some users on lower end hardware simply couldnt have it enabled at all.

I'll try turning it off tonight and hammer the TAB key in boss lair or immediately after banish takes place.

seems to happen when a hunter dies anywhere and you open the map a few frames after too
