keep that burning speed , but hunter can be set on fire only by molotovs and lanterns
It was literally brought in to combat having to camp a solos burning body from necro, but has basically ruined team play and people "still' choose to camp a body whilst its on fire anyway
Balancing the Crytek way
Game is wayy better now and was wayy better before all this forgiving crap with bounty revives. It used to be your burned hunter = dead for good and that was way better. At least this is a nice concession where people actually have incentive to chase the bounty when their friends get totaled rather than just extracting, while bringing back that hardcore spirit Hunt has been severely lacking.
Completely agree with this. Flare gun etc should just char off a bar where as full fire burns you away.

Different burn speeds would definitely be good
Or, wouldn't it be nice not to have to take chokes and be able to take something more interesting?
Why isn't there a bucket of water in game that you can retrieve and stop a burn? Seems to be plenty of lanterns lying around for no reason, where's the water bucket?
You still have to retrieve it and douse flames, making yourself vulnerable but you do not need a slot.
Flares should not start a burn immediately but give you a timer that if you don't get up you will be slow burnt in 20 secs or whatever, what you gonna do?
Lanterns have like, what, a cup of fuel in them, should not be as fast a burn as a molly for instance.
On fire. Which is the old speed or maybe slower, where the hunter is just sizzling.
And engulfed. Which is the current speed or faster, where the hunter has to be actively covered in fire.
Let's players still start hunters on fire easily, but you have to wait and gives stuff like fire bomb value for burning hunters out quick.
