Hunt: Showdown 1896

Hunt: Showdown 1896

Can we do something about the colors?
Hi everyone,

I like the new map, the layout, the compounds, the views, it is all very nice but the one thing I don't like about it is how literally everything is gray. The rocks are gray, the trees are gray, every single thing is gray. Even when an object isn't gray, there appears to be a gray filter over it. The barrels aren't red or yellow... They are a gray-ish red or yellow. The leaves on the trees aren't green, they are a gray-ish green. And this goes for literally everything.

I don't think this is a good look and I feel it takes away from an otherwise well-designed map.

Kind regards,

Me.

I like it on night variant but the daytime feels extremely bright but dull at the same time, it looks weird.

I love the fact night is way darker again

the colors are fine for me it sounds strange, i can distinguish everything and the colors are less globbed together like on the swamp map, trees are green and wood is actually brown compared to a global brown scale on the swamp map
there are filters you can use in nvidia or amd to boost the contrast but its a bit of an eye sore

I agree. all the colors are desaturated.

No clue what you are talking about, looks fine to me. I do not want so cartoonish colors. The only thing I noticed is the red barrels that look darker now and I actually LIKE IT.

wow its almost like its an a artistic choice to make the game look depressing and dark. keep it how it is tbh. i dont mind it.

this, the game takes place in 1896, but color was invented by Edward R. Turner in 1899, so three whole years after the events of the game.

The new lighting uniformity is great, but the colors are too washed. This was one of the first thing I noticed about the update.

Loading up the shooting range will reveal how desaturated the colors are compared to how it was. So hopefully they adjust it, because if the older maps look like that it'll look bad.

I believe they know about that and are fixing it.
