But it looks cool...
First two maps are the best gameplay-wise.
The biggest problem is how messed up the fire is, the bear traps, etc. Instead of releasing new weapons, they should work on balancing them and not in a dumb way like they did for the flash grenade. Before, it was too strong so ? What did they do ? They demolished it to the point you almost never see one in game.
Curiously though, it looks and plays a bit like a snipers paradise, which I though they were trying to limit? I mean bullet drop yes, but unless you are miles away it's not really a factor.
This is a common misconception I see people having. They even said it themselves the intent was to limit those longer ranges fights and bring battles within 200m. It was never meant to cut down on snipers... infact they added in the crossbow with a scope doubling down on sniper rats.
This whole update is a sniper rats dream. If they wanted to cut down on the whole playstyle they would have... but they made an entire map dedicated to it.
No... they did it so that you can't have those insane 200m shots using a sparks and such anymore. That's all it was.
Yeh you are right the stoopid long shots are probably not a thing anymore, but given the verticality and rock formations, trees etc it's actually promoting scoped weapons somewhat.
You will rule the bullet drop on iron sights all day, and still be relatively safe.
Skill issue over there dude, git gud.
