Hitbox issue

had several times where my opponent did not receive a hit. Same for monsters.
Is this a bug or some kind of connection issue?

This game has problem with hit registration.
It was like that before the last update, and now is even worse.

All depend on ping, so where are you from.

Germans have the best connection because servers are in Germany.
Germans should play against Germans only!

Then the rest of the Europe
Then China also should be separated, from the rest of the countries.

That's funny as I'm german and my ping according to the game is 20. But for some reason I have connection issues and I see a lot of chinese or russian players.

But I guess I just have to live with that.

I've noticed it alot when i use Heavy knife. i'll walk up to a group of zombies literally touching them and do a swipe heavy attack and not a single zombie is hit. Even tho all 3 zombies should take a hit and die from that one attack.

Is it for all guns? I had some shots with my Sparks that I felt were dead on their chest and it still missed, I was using fire ammo and I just wasn't sure if it was the gun or the ammo, and I struggle to replicate it because it's inconsistent

German and 20 on EU? HA-HA, fix your internet connection. You're ruining your own gaming experience, maybe change internet provider.

Everyone here's saying that EU is located in Frankfurt so your ping has to be like 0 (5-10 IRL).

Yeah, Chinese and Russian players are playing on EU - that's OK. I am paying on EU as well.

EU servers are crap. Crytek hosts with the cheapest provider, Leaseweb. Just look at the reviews.
And since the update it's gotten even worse.

Hitboxes became really awfull, sometimes it feels like i have aim assist, sometimes no damage reg at point blank!

Can't agree with that, I get pretty decent shots on EU, bullets always get their targets when they have to.

If you have troubles with hitboxes then it's probably your internet connection - this problem appears with high ping. Try choosing another server.

i had few weird hit reg issues since release. Worst one being someone who was crouching and not looking at me i fired 4 shots at about 60 metres and the shot would not land. Not a regular bug for me though.

Same. Thanks to leaseweb services and their unwillingness to get prioritized bandwith with some ISPs.
Better performance and less packet loss and ping on US... sad.
