why does crytek not want to make more games?
why do they only want to support this game and not make something new?

Cuz this game is a pretty good cash cow - people buy the cosmetics and stuff.

Crysis was always just a way for them to show off their engine and Hunt makes a crazy amount of money for them.

Because Vigil Games studio made them a great game, and cringetek screwed it all up.

They are also re-launching the game on modern consoles with the engine upgrade. So it looks like we won't see a Hunt 2 until PS6 Xbox 4 era.

They said that the Update is their "Hunt 2". They dont rename it for some reasons. I only have the german source.

Edit: Some reasons out of the source in english: They dont want to be like Destiny 2 or Overwatch 2. They dont want the people to buy or install a new game, loose progress, inventory etc.

You right, I forgot they said that. They will do Hunt 2 eventually (its their only cashcow, Crysis never sells well) but I guess it might be a long long time for when we see it.

crytek just has 1 server and it runs hunt , so no chance to get anything else!
