Crytek said that they will change ping limit, so it is possible that, with the engine update, they will block Chinese players on EU servers.
But!
With Crytek there is always but...
I will not believe till I see it.
For now, Chinese players infested the EU servers, and lots of them are cheating.
My friends and I (legiti players, of course) sometimes choose to play on EU servers because we have encountered too many cheaters on Asian servers, and have no choice but to temporarily avoid them.
Many players from other regions in Asia do the same. I hope cheaters can be effectively stopped. Cheers!
There are also many Chinese players (including cheaters) on Russian servers. It turns out that you have filled three servers - Asia, Russia and Europe. It shouldn't be this way.
Indeed, China probably has the highest number of PC gaming "otakus" in the world.
When the ping is over 160ms, the game becomes unplayable. Fanning basically misses the target, and there's no chance of winning in close combat.
