The Throwing-Spear is actually a really nice addition for the game. It's strong but easy to miss, and boy if you miss that thing goes flying into oblivion. So it's basically a high risk and high reward or meme tool.
It's understandable that people dislike new or strong stuff, but I'd rather have some elemental changes than playing the same old game over and over again. So instead of jumping to conclusions that the Spear is enough to make people uninstall we should wait a few days or two weeks and see how things going to play out. Like a lot of people were origínally complaining about beetles being introduced, saying that the game would die and so on. If you look at the beetles now they are barely annoying.
But that's just my opinion on this matter, feel free to hate these changes as much as you like. But not everyone feels or thinks the same way, cheers.
Edit: As for the graphics bug I haven't encountered it today in a play session of 6/7 hours. So either I'm extremely lucky or my setup is good enough to not notice any of these issues.
Yeah, no thanks, I'm just gonna resolve back to leaving those idiotic conditions as I used to before.
Feel free to do so. Everyone has different opinions, likes and dislikes different things. So go for the high visibility maps, nobody's going to stop you from doing that.
If they let us choose, there would be no more leaving and games would be full.
They don't let you choose because then you would never be at a disadvantage. You could always have the perfect weather condition when playing with your scope, or always have fog when you want to play some close quarter loadouts. But it's the mixture what makes this game truly fun, at least for me and a lot of other players.
Sure you can dodge matches without any consequences (for now I guess), but then you have to actually dodge the match and requeue again into a different one, which takes your time and not everybody elses.
You can like it or not, that is completely up to you. But if you decide you don't want to play the way it is intended to and would rather dodge a weather condition you dislike .. well then you're the one who must accept that you have to invest a few minutes in order to do so, simple as that. At least that's my perspective on this matter.
Also I don't mind if there's a trio missing in fog, rain or ash bloom, there's still more than enough players to be able to enjoy the match, for me at least. So I don't think "full matches" is a valid argument, especially since there're quite a few people that actually do like to play a mix of different weather types. It gives us more of a challenge so to say.
And having half-empty lobbies is a pretty valid argument because even when there's 12 players on the map it still doesn't feel like there's much going on. I wouldn't mind having 18 people in a game.
I guess we all can agree that if you and your squad leave a mission (which would still be 9 people on the map) it's not a bother to anyone at all. So feel free to dodge as many matches as you want, but don't assume that just because you left the match is already half empty, you're not that much of a bigshot after all dude.
So your just going to ruin it for everyone in that match you bail out of till you get a sunny day?
As Noxx said, what just queue up again till it's a sunny day map, well it's your time I suppose.
Dunno maybe Crytek are doing there best to provide you with a varied experience, so many asked for it, now so many seem to want to bail out of it.
I'll say it again there needs to be an A-B loadout option on the spawn screen after you can see the map.
