What constitutes budget?
I was curious what the community consensus is on the maximum estimated price before a loadout stops being reasonably considered a budget loadout.

500 +- 100

See I think a budget loadout is A nitro, with an Uppermat, Throwing axes, first aid, poison/wire traps. Then slap in a stam/antidote shot and 2 big dino bundles.

Cause that's cheap right?

But in all seriousness I do have to agree with the above that right around 500 should be the cut off.

so that means that up to 1k is normal and above 1k is high ???

I would consider a budget loadout by a maximum of 500 bucks. You can fit most guns in this bracket, including tools and (at least small) med shots, excluding exotic and most long ammo weapons. That's where budget of 800+ bucks comes in.

Mosin dolch puts you over 1k straight away and that's the meta loadout.

I have $200,000 and I still use a budget loadout. I've never noticed a difference in my skill level with more expensive loadouts. I either hit them or I don't.

depends on the budget their is the F THIS S dirt poor budget of no more then 2-300$ then there is the cheap A but effective budget 3+-=500. or there is the DAM NEAR ZERO TO HERO which is a nuckle duster quad darrenger and med pack thats it.

Budget loadout is using the free hunters as-is.
No matter what happens on a hunt it's only profit.
Most people don't even have free hunter as option unless they still prestige

I wanted to avoid this as an option and instead stick to a pricerange because you don't get to choose a free hunters loadout, you are at the mercy of whatever it gives you, which is different every time you get a new one.

New players - free reroll with a weak stamina shot.
For everyone else you grind like any other game, I think with this event you can get like 500-1000 without contesting anything and extracting. I have like 6 lebel/mosins just to get the "free" sub 20k rerolls lol

I want to make a loadout I can get used to and not have to worry about switching away from if I don't want to. I can't bring nitro/mosin spitzer with a dolch every round forever, I'd have to use something cheaper to build back up to it. That's why I asked for a general community budget pricerange. Never realized how to put that until now though lol, so thanks for your input.
