Why do people keep asking for a new boss?
I hear this all the time and it almost always points to other poor opinions.

The bosses were scary the first few times I played them then they just became a minigame you have to play to complete an objective.

Hate to break it to these folks but this is not a PvPvE game. Its a pvp game with a stealth audio system thats tied to the npcs.

Water and zombies share the same threat level and challenge. Avoid and be quiet or engage and be loud.

We don't need new mobs. We need systemic changes which will likely never happen.

Stop polluting the data with your loud wheel opinions.

I mean..... you could say this with a new map too. The new map isn't gonna change the gameplay that much, is it? We're still gonna be doing the same objective, right? So why should they even add a new map? Why should they add new guns if we're just gonna be playing the same game doing the same stuff anyways? Would they be better off working on systemic changes then too? Perhaps but I like to think they could do both

Issue is they can't do both. And an entire new map will give exponentially more content than a new boss.

i would like to see a new boss that is player-controlled and hurls verbal abuse at you, but otherwise deals no damage. basically the challenge is can you overcome the bullying. will help all the zoomers get tough, since they are all part time dogwalkers and flimsy.
You take it to the extreme but I agree with the sentiment. After you play this game for a few hrs and get aquainted with the bosses anf mobs pve part becomes a routine.

There have been a time where bosses have been harder. I mean, just look at rotjaw... a lot of players still don´t know how to deal with her and skip it. Crytek just needs to buff the bosses and i guess it´s fine.
Otherwise get ride of dozens of extra system we didn´t had in the early days, so bosses will become the only reward once again and mostly poeple have to run "trash-loadouts" because they´re feared to lose money.

Stuff that makes camping less effective would be the only thing I'm interested in. It's not fun and it's not skillful. You should get struck by lightning or something for sitting in the same area for too long.
there are 2 sort of players in this game

the first one, who dont care about anything. i just only want kill other players. Remove the PVE

the second one, who have absolutely not a clue about anything and are just noobs. dying to simplest A.I. and crying after that nerf this nerf that!

an the third the money creedy devs spamming one event after the next with their imcompetent community managers / mods who cant communicate with the playerbase banning anyone who critise their game

Because the bosses we have now, with the exception of Rotjaw, are kind of boring.
